As for a rating, he was a solid 8 back in the day. Nowadays he's a 0, since he's more or less dead...

I think he's a 10 out of 10, but realistically, he's probably forgotten about now since there's so many other characters coming out in newer games.

I think most of us will agree that he was at least strong 9 once. I give him 8 around AHT, 9 in TLoS. Right now, I'd give him strong 6, but I think it'll slowly decrease...

I think it more had to do with PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale coming out. You also saw a lot of people making statements about Crash Bandicoot too. It's died down now that the game has fallen a bit out of the spotlight. And no one's really been clamoring, aside from this website, for a new "classic game." <.<;

I would rate spyro as a 10. He's not really forgotten, they just dont pay much attention to him. Skylanders is whats making him get a lower rating. Its not really a spyro game. Spyro is awesome.

Classic Spyro? Eight out of Ten,he was good before but now he'd be a bad example to kids with that personality(specially in AHT).
Skylanders Spyro; Nine out of Ten,all he needs is some more development and importance and he's the next Classic Spyro.
Legend Spyro, I can't give more than a 5. Exact copy of so many characters,right on the verge of being a Gary Stu,not to mention really bland in the last game.

Classic Spyro (10/10) I loved it, it was very simple and had all these 10-20 minute levels making the surroundings feel a bit varied.

The Legend of Spyro series (10/10) After beating it, I did not feel strongly about replaying the game. There were not as many environments or collectables. But I really did like the spin off how it was a tad bit of a darker atmosphere and a bit more action oriented.

Skylanders (7/10) I loved this game series as well once again returning to the variety of environments , there were a lot of characters including dragons (I like dragons). There were collectables or treasure which I found to be a bit addicting. Only downfall is, I wish Spyro had a bigger role in the game, even something small such as replacing the autosave icon from Spyro to the portal master kinda got to me a bit.

Classic (10/10): Part of "My Childhood", this was one of the best games Era I have ever play in my life, so much fun, funny NPC's, awesome OST and nice Level design, Including the Handles too.

Legend (9/10): Okay, This Era was a "linear", but I really like the Storyline and OST of this series, I Spend Hours and Hours playing these games in My PS2 and I'm Happy to Have DOTD for my PS3 (Since my PS2 it's dying >.<). The series was darker and intense and I like it.

"Hey vegeta, what does the scouter say about his awesomeness level?"
"Its over 9000!!!!!"

The classic (Spyro 1 Spyro 2 and Spyro 3):
10/10.
The classic (Spyro 4: Enter The Dragonfly):
9/10. Something I did not like, or maybe were the animations that Spyro did see a little different.
The classic (Spyro 5: A Hero's Tail):
10/10. Was improved, and this time, the purple color will stay better.

The Legend (TLOS 1 & TLOS 2):
11/10. Similar to the first three classics, but with better things, better minor details and better resolution graphics.
The Legend (TLOS 3):
10/10. The minor details changed a bit, although the model is still prefect.

Skylanders (in general):
4/10. Not what I expected, there are many things that disappoint: His head, horns, body, wings, color, face and side details are rare. It looks like a cuddly little monster in the shape of a dragon. Even the change to Crash Bandicoot for the Xbox 360 and Play 3 is much better than change for Spyro in Skylanders.
The rest of Skylanders in general: is Amazing, with A capitalized.

Nah,nothing too bad as I saw on other threads,but some posts here sound like people are worshipping Spyro as if it was some demigod of pixels.But that's just me,don't worry.
