Took a quick run by a few places, fairly unimpressed.

More room dedicated to Skylanders than last time I checked, and a LOAD of 3 packs, but closer inspection proved that the 3 packs were all the one with Sprocket (with ONE being the Flashwing pack). The singles were a fair variety. They also had several Lightcores, so I tried them out on the portal to see how they lit up. Finally the TRU guy got curious enough to ask, so I asked for LLC Chill. He said they went fast, he estimated that they got them on Thursday and they were gone by the weekend (jeez, it's only Monday!). He also said one woman grabbed 10! I remarked that I thought scalpers were usually guys, He said she was older, and that she was getting them for her grandchildren, but I still call scalper. Seems like siblings would usually share, all 10 can't be cousins! Oi.

As pathetic as last time, pretty much only Starter Packs, a few singles. Also the portal wasn't working.

The guy had no idea what I was talking about, but I did spot a starter pack behind the counter! He went in the back, got clarification, I still had to point it out, and explain that I wanted SINGLE characters, that I already had the game. Then I saw he had the Punch Pop Fizz pack! Ugh, too much to afford right now or I'd buy it! Don't even know what I would do with the game for a system I don't even have, or the extra Tree Rex and S2 Cynder, LOL! I already have two S1 Cynders.

All he had were a few starter packs for a few different systems.

Just picked up striker pack and legendary chill at toys r us in Calgary!

Considering Monday was family day in Ontario and several other provinces I call bs on this. The stores where closed and couldn't have gotten a shipment yesterday.

No such occasion around here, as far as I know nothing was closed around here, so this is certainly not Canada-wide. First I ever even heard of this concept was yesterday.

It has only been a holiday fort a few years and it was on the 11th for bc, and it was the 18th for on, ab, sk. Almost everything was closed in ottawa on that day even walmart. It is an actual governement recognized stat day so no mail was delivered on those days in those provinces.

Asked to the store Manager at Boisbriand and he said today he hasn't received a huge shipment of Skylanders on Monday... So far, it seems fishy...

I am only reporting back what I was told by a TRU employee. Everything posted on the forum should be taken with a grain of salt in most cases anyway. I will hunt around later on today and see what I find or not. BTW, Molton Hot Dog was sighted at several Walmarts yesterday in the US

I hope they come to Canadian walmarts

Full restock of wave 1 through 3 at richmond hill/markville mall TRU. A lady at markville TRU put 3 SS packs on hold and picked them up right in front of me as I was walking out.

Ebgames at markville mall had a full restock of wave 1 through 3 as well

Walmart at markville was bare and only had a single Hot head

Any sign of the molten hot dog in Canada?

My local TRU in Edmonton has the legendary chil and scorpion packs.

Today I stopped by a TRU I've never been to before, in Lasalle (Montreal), looking for Legendary Lightcore Chill. SORT OF part of Place Angrignon (though physically separate and across the road, it's still listed on a mall map Information gave me, LOL!). The guy in the electronics section said it was weird, they haven't received a shipment recently. He said the guy in charge of the section said to take down names and numbers of people looking, and they'd call when they came in. I was the first! Yay! He guessed I saw the flyer, so I'm guessing she's being advertised.

You know, I haven't been terribly interested in Chill, but with TWO special attributes I'm willing to give her a shot! LOL!

I'm also interested in Molten Hot Dog (though I somehow had gotten the impression he was red-er than regular Hot Dog, and now I've seen he's Yellow-er, earning him the nickname Mustard Hot Dog... As a hater of mustard, this does not thrill me, LOL!). I'm guessing he's a store exclusive, what store? I feel like I heard Walmart... (Better than Target, we don't have any Targets as of yet).

I finally got my granite crusher i ordered off ebay wow he really does look better black helmet blue rocks or gems very cool :-) should i leave him in the package or take him out i want to take him out but i don't know what i mean. would love a suggestion or 2.Still waiting for gnarly rex is he stronger then the original?

Went out yesterday no molten or mustard hotdog at walmart but shelves were stocked full of wave 3 seen alot of giants
Tru in whitby had tons aswell nice to see the shleves fully stocked.

I'm guessing we won't see wave 4 till march hope i'm wrong

i got SS at toysrus in hamilton last night but i think it was the last one. saw a few at walmart today too.

Heartland WM - Yesterday @ noon. There were three SS battle packs. I took two. May have restocked?

Sq One TRU - Saw boxes and boxes of Legendary Lightcore Chill. They probably still have them today.
While you are there you can check Sq One WM for SS pack.

TRU @ Winston Churchill and Argentia is always a good place to check.

Do you guys think they will issue Gnarly TRex outside of the box?

Called a WM, gave them the Molten Hot Dog UPC, and they said it doesn't exist in their system!!

Same here went on my regular skylander run, and plenty of skylanders but no wave 4.
I still think we won't see wave 4 till mid march but that doesnt mean i'm not gonna keep checking :-) sometimes i wish i never got into collecting skylanders nevermind forget i said that LOL

As for gnarly rex becoming available outside the wii bundle is highly unlikly but u never know it would bring in more money.

The thing i want to know is how are people selling like 20 or more loose gnarlys on ebay? do they work for activision there's noway they are buying wii bundles they wouldnt make ne money? ne1 know how this is possible

Best buy and the super store have a huge amount of skylanders inc hot dog three pack. They are loaded with all the old adventure paks as well. Located across the stc.

^ I am assuming this is wave 4 since last week a TRU employee said they were receiving a huge shipment of wave 4 last week and it turned out to be wave 1 through 3 again. Was there a confirmation of which wave by chance?

NinjiniXO, I am not Canadian but will help out on what I know..... Molten is out/being shipped to all Wal-Marts in the US as we speak. As far as Wave 4... Speculation is running rampant on this site, as far as the USA we have no Hard proof other than being out in other countries. My guess is it will be out in the US in the next 2 Weeks...... Not sure how long after that it takes for you guys to get waves.

For my question to my Canadian friends... When did LLC Chill come out at TRU in Canada?

She has been out here in canada for around 2 weeks Bazinga.

I picked up LLC Chill on February 14. That store received 72 of them that day. Another TRU I went to yesterday was sold out of them. Both stores are north of Toronto.

I can confirm what he's said, and I even saw it. An employee looked up the singles in their computer and I saw 2000-something units. I'm pretty sure he said it was for the end of Feb, but could have been the end of March. We'll know by the end of the week, but judging by all the "Skylanders: We've Got It" posters that have gone up recently, I would say end of Feb was right on.

yea but the post was for monday the 18th, which would have meant thurs day the 21st, fri the 22. There was another post giving these days as a us release for wave 4 but that didnt happen there either, only thing new that week was molten hotdog state side walmart.

Not saying we wont see a big shipment this week because wave 4 will be out sooner then later, but just saying the monday originally refered to was last week.

If anyone is looking for Legendary LC Chill, the TRU in Pickering (Ontario) is very well stocked right now.

The funny thing is my local EB games says they are waiting for Ninjini any day now but then again they haven't even gotten the Scorpion striker pack yet

I really hope they move this back where it belongs, in Giants where it was posted in the first place... I'm sure I'm not the only one who doesn't check this forum, seems like it doesn't get nearly the activity of the other forums.
