now, the fastest xp trick i have heard of is the start beginning of lost city of arkus over and over, and yes it works wonders for the lower levels. very quick. for the 9+ levels however, it starts to make me impatient. even with 3 luck o tron wheels of xp. it drives me insane. does anyone know a faster way, i heard you can get them to 15 in about a hour with this city of arkus trick if you have enough xp boost. but i only have 110%.

I actually do the Drill X level to gain xp for my characters. It's a very quick way to level up. Might try your way soon.

really, the way you mention is the fastest in general as it doesnt matter what skylander you have anyone can do it (because of the bombs)

(is this what you are referring to for the quick leveling route? keep killing the respawning big green guy? or just rerunning the first 3 main areas of this level?)

if it bores you, then just running the entire level (chapter 15) is good experience, and just keep re running it till you get all 3 stars, or any of the later levels give you decent XP.

Keep finding the Lucky Wheels of Experience and putting them into the Luck-O-Tron.

I always do the level with the octopus guy. I can't remember what they call him

i have gotten 3 of the 4 of them. however one of them seems to be missing. i looked in the glacier gully spot but it isnt there, i know i havent gotten it yet because when i first played it it wasnt there.

the trick i do is kill the trog guys (the green slimy things) then go to that little mage guy who makes the tiny guys big. kill him and the little guys then rinse and repeat. (the mage guy gives a buttload of xp, even with only 110% bonus)

i recommend doing this on easy or medium.

The real fastest EXP trick is to farm Kaos' minions in the final battle. He will fire them infinitely, and once he's below 50% health, he'll shoot two of the larger mechs for even better EXP. Don't worry about defeating him, either; if you get close to the end, allow yourself to be defeated and "restart" from the defeat screen--you'll find that, instead of setting you at the beginning of the whole mission, you'll only be back at the start of the bridge as Kaos chases you. It's substantially faster than any other area. You can get a character from 1 to 15 in 10-15 minutes depending on kill speed.

What I always do is keep going the Lost City of Arkus with all 4 Exp Luck o Tron Wheels and keep killing the Trog Wanderers, they seem to give the most exp out of all the enemies.

ooo, this i have to try and with the added difficulty of a boss fight it should be a much more entertaining way of leveling.

I mostly do Level 15 - dragging out the mages a bit, but usually letting my Trigger Happy actually kill them for his Mages quest - but I also do the Oracle and do the Spiders test, the big spider and all of his minions seem to give a lot, especially as I also let the spider eggs survive a while too. And yes, I sometimes do the final level and focus on the minions during the boss fight. The health spell towers bug me because they take such a beating, but otherwise...

And I put 4 XP wheels on. You DO have all 4 bulbs, right? You're missing a XP Wheel? Have you checked all the places?

1. Ch 1: Time Of The Giants (doing the chompy pit 3 times in a row)
   
2. Ch 5: Glacier Gully (at the beginning of the level drop down and get a bomb to toss at the next platform, blowing up the stubby column. Inside that column. When you smash some snowmen that Noodles is protective of, you can drop off here and get it)
   
3. Ch 9: Kaos' Kastle (after exiting the secret passage and seeing a bit of a grassy areana ahead, instead go right along the lower border of the arena)
   
4. Ch 12: Molekin Mountain (near the beginning, at the pushblock puzzle, push one to the elevator at the left edge, above the bridge you're making)
   

If it really is the Glacier Gully one, my first guess is that you didn't blow up the stubby column/round building first. You have to do this before you meet the ghost, because after the ghost you drop down a step and can't return to where the bomb is. You blow it up before, but you can only pick up the wheel after the fight around the three snowmen (i.e. after you've met both the ghost and Noodles).

A friend of mine said something about levelling up his characters using the Arena challenges in the Molekin Mountain arena. I haven't tested this myself so I have no idea if it's any good.

OK i am back after doing the trick. and i did it for about 10 minutes and got my level 11 zook to 13.

I've found I level much faster on Kaos if I just cut right through the first half of his health. In the second half of the battle, he shoots out two of the large Akeyans at once, and those are the bulk of the EXP you'll be getting. It should take about 10 minutes to go from 10-15 in the second half, and on some characters, less than that. Since you can restart from the bridge, it doesn't matter if you deplete his health.

Well, about the boredom thing. it seems to be random with this trick. Sometimes i get bored, sometimes i dont. when i first start the fight it takes about 20-30 minutes before i get bored.

Ah well.

Anyways though, he deserved it.

Slightly off topic, but what is the best level to easily farm some coins? I just use the beginning half of Level 16 (with all 4 wealth 'o-trons) until the damn fire thingies. Is there a level that pays out more?

easiest non-glitch way to get money is to raid Auric's vault.

You know that little vault thingy in the game room? Yeah, you have to have it available.
If you don't, make a new save file and beat it.

Now, collect the treasures inside after opening it.
Then, go outside the game room and back into the "Main" area of the ship. (you can't be in the tower either).

Go back into the game room. And it should of somehow reset on its own without you leaving to a new level.

rinse and repeat. but NEVER go into a level during the part where you already collected it. i recommend doing the endgame vault since it gives about 1000 each time.

the vault isn't a "cheat." It's there to be opened. it (eventually) takes 8 skylanders to open and it resets itself every time you leave the room, so with patience, you can get a couple thousand gold in the time it takes to swap 8 characters. The other method isn't a glitch, it's just a way to take advantage of the game's save mechanics

What in the world is the crane deck? A ship part?

if you're referring to the vault in the game room where auric is, that resets every time you leave the room and thats intended, its there to reward people who have all 8 elements (or to push you to get all 8 elements )

if you cant 'save scum' as posted above (which is definitely the fastest way but you have to have not accessed an area in your game already to take advantage of it, the moment you enter the area and leave you need a new save file)
then the next fastest way to do it is beginning of chap 16 + the crane deck with 4x luckotron wheels
it also means you dont have to keep swapping characters which is annoying

Don't know why you think you have to be so specific... The vault resets after every level or so, with more elements to unlock, until it gets to all 8 elements. Then at some point, I only noticed after several levels, it resets whenever you leave the room, even just into the main tower, even if you've only partially opened the vault and leave. You DON'T have to go all the way out into the main part of the ship.

But I find the Skylander switching annoying to do this much, even when I line them up in order, ready to go. I find there's a lot of money on Chapter 15, especially if you visit the optional areas like the Water Gate, dropping down the hole which gets filled with the bouncy pad that gets you to the key, smashing/blowing the wall BEHIND that key, dropping down off the cliff where the first giant barrel does, and the crystal-blocked cave at the end of the Fire Gate.

Autogyro Adventure (Ch. 14 I think) is also good, in the flying portions if you get all the coins/rings, the "2x" doubles whatever you have at that time in that section. You pick up the money when you're forced to land.

I have 250% xp boost and all 4 xp luck o tron wheels. I have found that the City of Arkus is the best to level up. Got my series 2 stealf elf from 1-15 in about 20 minuets just by doing this level 1.5 times. I have about 30 level 15's now.

To combat the bordom what I do is follow this pattern.

All my 70 skylanders have full weapons upgrades as I use this money cheat. The vid is on Xbox but I have a PS3 and it works fine on that too.

I want to point out something, OP. You mention "it works wonders for the lower levels". I have all 4 XP wheels on the Luck-O-Tron, and yesterday I got to the final battle of Lost City Of Arkus. Near the beginning of the fight, my character reached Level 14. By the end of the fight, my character was almost as close to Level 15 as he was to Level 14 at the beginning of the fight. I almost went the last entire level's worth of XP in one fight, never mind the chapter.
