We're getting this all incredibly backward, folks. There's no need for e-mails and production shots to prove that Spyro, Wrecking Ball, and L. LC Chill are out. People have the toys. The suddenness of the release is clearly true, otherwise nobody would have those three figures. It's up in the air as to whether everything will really be out this weekend, but if Spyro and Wrecking Ball are shipping to the Netherlands of all places, then it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what the stock in Activision's warehouses actually is--it's Wave 4. The stuff is out, it's coming, and frankly, it's almost a fluke that the Netherlands have it first.

Yes, it wouldn't surprise me to see the cases contain Spyro, Wrecking Ball, Slam Bam, Fright Rider, Terrafin and Zook or something like that. I do think a case featuring Drobot, Hot Dog, Shroomboom and Zap in addition to Spyro and Wrecking Ball is inconsistent with their philosophy of only releasing a couple of new characters at a time, but then again, it wouldn't totally shock me either.

Don't let your skepticism put you to sleep on the hunt this week, or you're likely to miss out. Most of the sources confirming a new wave have proven their credibility, and once again, let's not forget that they're already out and this isn't speculation anymore.

GM, we're saying they're out because people have them already. They are literally in the hands of forum members, possibly being played with, as I type this message. The Netherlands count. If they shipped there, they're shipping here. The distribution centers are filling all orders worldwide with the same stock, just like how it's been since the franchise debuted. While the assortment is debatable, the fact that a release is upon us is not.

Right now the only thing worth debating is the avalibility of Ninjini on Friday.

I bet she'll be bundled with 1 Thumpback, 1 Eye-Brawl, 1 Bouncer, and 1 Hot Head.

I'm calling two Ninjini, one Eye Brawl and Thumpback, Swarm, and Bouncer. Whether or not that's Friday is anybody's guess, since they've had longer to run out of single pack stock (December 23) than they've had to run out of Giants (January 12-ish) in their distribution center, but it really is only a matter of time. I'd be shocked if they could keep going on the current boxes alone for much longer.

I wonder what the variant will be.

I bet Spyro, Terrafin, and Slam Bam will get the recoloring.

I'm thinking (and this is just a guess) that whenever the Ninjini cases come out, there'll be 3 Ninjini, a Crusher, Eye Brawl and Thumpback. Crusher is due for a return. Might replace one of those Ninjinis with a Swarm.

We hae way too may swarms.

You said they're out based on Tash's statements about peoples' skepticisms? Or, because people in one country has them now? *scratches head*

I don't see how wave 4 singles - GRW4 - could contain Jet-Vac, Hot Dog, Shroomboom, Spyro, Wrecking Ball, Drobot, and Zap.

The reason being, is wave 3 contained 1 figure from wave 1, and 1 from wave 2. I can almost certainly bet that wave 4 would do the same. Contain a character from wave 1 and wave 2. Perhaps Sprocket and Fright Rider, which the former is becoming obscure like Bouncer, while the latter is almost non-existent. That puts the case at 14 figures, because we know how they do the distribution of newlanders at 2 and 1 (2 Flashwing and 1 Pop Fizz in wave 3) per case.

So, it would be this -

- x1 Fright Rider (because there's already a Lightcore Chill needing to be released)
- x2 Sprocket
- x2 Hot Dog
- x2 Jet-Vac
- x2 Shroomboom
- x1 Spyro
- x1 Wrecking Ball
- x1 Drobot
- x1 Zap
- x1 Chop Chop

I included Chop Chop as well. That would be 14. Where is Slam Bam, who has been missing since wave 1? Where is Ignitor and Zook, who have been missing since wave 1? There is a pattern to this, I think, which I will detail below.

I still think there will be 5 waves of single packs. No one has seen pics of any of the new Lightcore, or Series 2 Drobot, but someone in the Netherlands thought to post a pic of Spyro and Wrecking Ball, when they should have posted pics of the pegs filled with wave 4 figures at the store, which shows what else comes in the wave 4 box?

Maybe that's what I would have done. I just know that when Wham came out, people on the west coast were quick to take a pic of the pegs filled with wave 5 Skylanders. We also knew the contents, based on people in Australia who noted who came in the box, as they were in better supply there.

I still want to say that it MIGHT go like this -

Triple Pack 9, which I still think is a rumor, could be either Jet-Vac, Shroomboom, and Hot Dog, (Jet-Vac from wave 4 of course) or Drobot, Chop Chop, Zap.

However, when one thinks about it, it all doesn't fit into place. Look at the pattern of wave 3. It had x1 Pop Fizz (wave 1), x2 Flashwing (wave 2), x1 Starter Pack Skylander, x4 NEW Series 2, x1 Terrafin (wave 1), x1 Whirlwind (wave 1), x1 Stump Smash (wave 2), and x1 Drill Sergeant (wave 2).

I want to say they will go with that pattern for the next waves, because there is no way to circulate wave 1 and 2 characters that have been absent for awhile (Zook, Trigg, Ignitor, Slam, Fright, Chill, Sprocket, Bash, Flameslinger, Gill, Sonic, Double) if a box contains nothing but newer figures.

Based on what TFB has always done, they always circulate older figures with newer stuff. I doubt they would skip a wave and do that.

I am going to rush into toysrus so fast and grab 2 of everything hehe 1 for myself and a friend who is just as crazy about skylanders as i am!

Can't risk the figures being sold out and then having to sort through ebay and pay more.. i only use ebay for retired figures only!

I spoke to two TRU store managers and they assure me that nothing new has come in as of today. However, there is a Thursday shipment on the way. What, who knows?

Just burns me that Activision doesn't follow a schedule and have created a scalper market on it own even without getting a slice of the profit.

In reality they will not be sold out permanently. Just hard to get a hold of, that's all. I was lucky to snag Thumpback and Eye Brawl the week of release because I hounded the Gamestops until I lucked out. Now you go out and even TRU has them in stock as well as Gamestop and Best Buy. So it take you a while to get them but eventually you will. I could have had multiple Thumps and Eye but why deprive a kid from enjoying them go make a few $$.

Now, all bets are off if a I see variants cause those are rare and I'd be able to pay off some of my past Skylander purchases with probably just one of those

Not a single link for LC Pop, Hex, Chill, Series 2 Drobot, or Ninjini.

I think we are up for disappointment this week. Something in my gut tells me we won't see these this week. Perhaps next week or the next couple of weeks. Hope I'm wrong.

I just can't wait for news on the other variants.

I have no info on whether Wave 4 availability at Target, but you will not find Jade Flashwing until St. Patricks day, as stated earlier. It's possible a few might leak onto the shelves a little earlier, but we are holding back the stock to support the two Sunday ads leading up to Easter (March 17th and March 24th) as they are both big shopping weeks for video games/toys. Jade will be featured prominently in both ads, so you should have no problem finding one at your local Target those two weeks.

I was able to access and break down a list of the specific UPC's used to bundle the SKU's for the single cases of skylanders as used by Wal-Mart. There is absolutely no trace of a UPC for a single Zap in this assortment, but there are UPC's for singles of Hotdog and Shroomboom in the assortment.

Single Zap does not appear to actually exist

That's actually really stupid because so few people want the battle packs for the item and even less want it for the S2 figure. Then again maybe Activision realized Battle Packs were as useless as S2.

Wave four is speculated to come out at Toys R Us and Walmart. So on what day should I be checking the stores?

There is no indication that ALL the remaining characters will be released in W4...here are the new figures to expect:

Of the remaning characters: Spyro, Wrecking Ball, Shroomboom, Hot Dog, Ch... (can't remember if I was writing Chop Chop or Chill), LC Pop Fizz, LC Chill, Ninjini. The rest will be previously released characters. Scheduled to be released on 3/1 plus or minus a week.

This info wasn't hard to come by if you spoke to the right people at the Toy Fair

as has been mentioned numerous times, not a single store has a single online listing for a single Wave 4 product yet. Not a single ad has been released. No commercials. No "coming soon" displays. This would have to be the stealthiest release ever.

Has everyone forgotten that people on these very forums already have the figures? L.LC Chill is blatantly out in Canada, Spyro and Wrecking Ball are blatantly out overseas. What does everyone think they're doing, sending cases of Wave 4 overseas and then dipping back into some hidden reserve pool of Wave 3 figures to fill US orders? Why would anyone think that's a possibility?

I'm done, this is too frustrating. I understand "pics or it didn't happen," but we have pics of every release I just mentioned, and there's no such thing as "pics and I'm still entitled to believe nothing happened." All single pack orders from here on are going to be Wave 4 figures. Don't believe me? Fine, but at this point I doubt even holding them in your hands is going to be enough to convince some people.

One last time, though: They. Are. Out. We are not talking about a possible future release here, we're talking about a figure assortment that's already shipping to stores as I write this. If you don't believe that, then I suppose you're saying that the pics of the actual figures sitting on the desks of DarkSpyro posters must be photoshopped? Or scalped? Or review copies? It's all the same conspiracy theory in the end.

Wait, these things are advertised? The only time I hear about a wave release is through this forum reporting back. I say, if you're close to a store or it's on your way, why not check it this week. IF it had stuff, great, let us know. If it doesn't that's ok.
