Only the bottom half lights up? Kinda lame but still looks freakin awesome. Can't wait for her to come to Ohio.

so she's has alot more increased stats then the regular

I hope the us get it soon but the light up would be a dissapointment since only the bottom lights up

while looking at her a bit more closely, i think the light is actually in the stand. they defiantly could have done a better job, but the stats make up for it

TRU only gets my business for the legendaries. Have they explained their dollar mark up?

Another lame lightcore. Seriously, if they wanted to make the lightcores special, they needed to REALLY be illuminated on the portal. The best one I've seen is the custom one done for Hot Head that powered up the LEDs in his hands. Would be even better if his entire body had glowing lava lines over his body. Instead, we get a single light on his head. Nice.

yeah I thought his hands could light up and the thing on his head sucks. I hate this since he is my favorite giant and he can't light up very well.

I can't wait to get Legendary Chill... i mean Chill's in my top three favorites... I allready have Legendary Stealth Elf(my fav) so I just need her. (unless a legendary Spocket comes out.)

its armor, its just the same color as her skin

glad you like my custom hot head. i ended up painting the lava lines as well ...

what himewad also said that i wanted for eruptor, too, was the lava lines GLOWING.

I didn't do that custom, I was merely referring to its greatness, and stating that the lightcores could have been epic had they been made to REALLY show off their potential instead of just putting a random light somewhere.

it all comes down to cost and productivity. they make it plain, simple and easy to produce then more time putting them to retail thus making more profit. well this is Activision anyways.

im buying 2 after work! my tru confirmed they have like 60 in stock

honestly id absolutely love to see a guide on how to modify lightcores like hot head, did you do that in one attempt? can you remove those flames without marking the model itself? or did this take a few hotheads to get right?

I'm guessing with the later. These toys are subject to many regulations so I'm sure the country with the most restrictions watered down the product. I saw a video indicating that there was also physical constraints, but I would also bet some bureaucratic federal body and/or import/export regulations had a play in what they could do.

Wow...he looks amazing! You should show a tutorial on how to make your own custom HotHead on YouTube. I also hope Activision learns from your custom how a true Lightcore should look like for any future Lightcore...so they can have that WOW POW look!

See? THIS is what Hot Head should have looked like! At minimum, anyway. Having FLAMES in his hands light up is such a gimme, I was shocked they didn't make him that way. And even like this isn't much, seems like there should be some glow among his torso or something. Like Himewad said, glowing lava lines in his body would be perfect.

That being said... I HEARD that the power for the light is somehow drawn from the portal, that it's part of the reason they're all wired now, the figures might have some power limit concerns, and more light would draw more power, which would explain why EVERYBODY seems so limited, light-wise. Seeing t7gga's customs suggests that Activision/TFB were overly cautious.
