I guess I haven't been paying attention to this. How rare is the "blue" prism break?

I've only seen the GREEN one recently. Doesn't appear to be too many on eBay?

I saw one of these on ebay. Guy wanted 100 for it. I don't know how rare they are or if they are just like the chill lips or what.

Chill lips all over again.

I dont know because I have a blue one I didnt even know that some where green.

Finally, one of the few color variants that I think looks pretty cool!

WOW!! I'd like to get a green one, mine is blue but not that vibrant, it's more of a pale blue...!!

I was at Gamestop on Thursday and they had several of both.

I have a pale blue one too, the green one looks pretty neat though

I think the brightness in color is due to how the photo was taken...

^ aaah, I was wondering about that, thanks!! I might check GameStop today for a Green one (cuz it's my fav color)... if I do, I'll let u guys know if I find one or both colors today!!

Wow blue prism break I want that, is it only available in America? I only ever seen green ones here in the UK

I don't have a s2 prism break, but in TRU I saw one that had blue crystals on the back but green ones in his Hands/crystals. I thught it was cool with the combo colors.

Hahaha. I just check mine and its also blue. Never really noticed it until now. I think its like the Chill lips thing that its more a factor on where/when it was made.

That is pretty cool. I got mine right when wave 3 released, and it looks bluish, but not a bright blue like that one.

mine looks like a light blue just not as bright as the one in the picture

Mines Blue... Looks like the Variant (If you call it that) is the Green one.

Ah cool. This is a lot better than the differences in Chill. I'll have to double check to see which one I have.

So is the blue one more common in the United States? Because here in the UK all I see is green.

I got a very crystaly blue. You can barley see the color. I'll be on the look out for the green one, it would look nice for my collection.

I have the green, but I saw the blue one in Best Buy today. Didn't pick it up though.

Mine is ultra light blue, but it's almost opaque.

Mine is not any color. Super clear, no pigment at all.

So, in looking at my Prism Break, on his back under his gems is an '8'. Do you guys see it on yours? I'm thinking I have a rare variant here!! Lol no I'm just joking. Only curious.

Actually the pic I posted wasnt mine. Came from the Skylander addicts FB page. I live in the Pacific NW, where lighting and sunlight is typically scarce!

If your talking about inside the gem that is on his back, then mine has a 3. It is blue and bought at TRU in Cali.

Please tell me we aren't doing this again. Blue lip Chill again is definitely accurate. I know that it is nice to feel like you stumbled something special or have all variations, but that's just silly. Different manufacturing runs have small variations, sometimes due to different raw material suppliers, changes int he process or simply just made in different factories.

I am subscribing to the manufacturing theory. Its like when I saw that Chill red lip thing, suddenly all the single Chills at TRU had red lips yet the 3 packs (from which I got mine) were all blue. No one knows for sure and Activision isnt talking.

I have the green one in the U.S. For me it is common.

If you are talking about the picture with the Yellow base, then Yes you are correct, but that is a prototype picture and you can't base that picture of of the real ones you find in stores. If you look at the one that is in the package and zoom in, you will see that all the crystals are blue.
Plus, I would not trust a variant picture on amazon thinking your going to get the same that is displayed (different color) and you get the normal color.

If you do find one in the store that has half blue and half green, I will buy it for $20.

I was referring to the second picture. The one out of the package with the orange base. To me the tops is green and the bottom is blue. Maybe it is just me.

That is a Yellow base. The prototype picture.

I think no matter what color his gems are, the bottoms are all the same. I agree with you though Bazinga, in Amazon pic, the one where he is opened, they look two different colors. It's the gems that are actually on him that are different.

Even in looking at the OPs picture. The gems on Prism Break are vastly different from each other but the bases are still the same.

In other news, the one we already have is blue. My boyfriend went to work today (Walmart) and found a green one. I'll hang him on the wall next to our cherry lips Chill. :-P

You say that, but I think the variations are intentional. That way, some people will buy a green one, then see a blue one and buy it because its different. The ones I have seen locally are neither blue nor green - they are clear. Three "variants" with a single fig, not counting the lightcore or the employee one.
