I don't think they took into consideration who was best/weakest or popular/not popular.

I think the largest factor in who didnt make the cut was who was the most recently released. Assuming something along the lines of not having long to enjoy them in the first game so use your series 1 character to start Giants. Sounds OK in theory, right? You notice that 4 of the final release Skylanders "didnt make the cut" in Giants. No Wham Shell, Camo, Warnado or Sunburn. In reality tho, what they accomplished was making the 8 non series 2 released figures extremely rare and harder to find. I give them some props for seamingly shipping out some more Wham Shells, Sunburn/Dragons Peak adventure packs and Camo/Warnado/Ignitor triple packs over the last few months. But unless they release more Voodood, Boomer, Dinorang,&Ghost Roaster/Darklight Crypt (notice every other one in stores recently but this one?) its a vary half hearted attempt.

These are not a huge loss to those who got them back when, but it would be nice for newer fans to at least be able to find the originals who "didnt make the cut" in Giants!

Put Thumpback on the top of that list and i'll be happy. Eitherway, DO NOT trade Wham Shell for Chill. Wham Shell is hard to find unless you try Evilbay or some Toys R Us.

Not really fair to compare figures that were released before Christmas to one released in the summer (after the "shine" wore off). Players had already defeated the game, and many parents were not going to buy every figure. They need to release everything at once.

To clarify, this discussion isn't about someone giving away their Wham Shell, it's a reference to Activision/Toys For Bob (not sure who's in charge of the figures) choosing not to re-release Wham Shell when they introduced Chill. In a way, every element gave up one character to introduce a new one, this thread is about disagreeing with this switch for the water element, saying that Chill isn't good enough to be worth giving up Wham Shell.
