^ That S2 Camo came from a hacked version of the game, it never was, and unfortunately never will be released... He's still my fav!!! I'm still holding out for a Blue base Camo in the next game tho!!!

actually i wouldn't even consider that Camo pic a hack, its just a really, really bad attempt at photoshop.

This is what we call hacking. It is very sad that people are SOOOOOOO greedy that they would hack to get a charecter that has not come out yet

Camo is one of my favs as well. Too bad he doesn't have an S2.

The hacker who published this, named matteo (NOT me!), hacked it, then dimmed the picture.

The bad quality was us users trying to edit the brightness.

Also, there is another thing that gives it away that they are hacked, whenever you put on a game varient, (Granite, Legendary) It says it in little tiny letters above their name. This Chill would normally say CHILL With Legnedary LightCore written in tiny font above it, same goes for Jade flashy and Molten Hotdog.

It's not "greedy", it's "sick of waiting for Activision/TFB taking their sweet damn time releasing characters". It's THEM being greedy, artificially pumping up demand by delaying release, especially since they seem to delay the highly sought characters the most (I'm sure I'm not the only one who has been interested in Ninjini the most since the beginning, and she's the last to be released, with STILL no release date that I've heard). Morally, I have no objection to people doing this. After all, it seems like the main way to do this is to take a character and edit his chip to say he's someone else, someone unreleased. The game designers still get their money. I would SO do this if I didn't have to put in major work to learn exactly how to do this, as well as to buy the hardware to let me do it.

Well spotted! LOL! Which makes it weird how they managed it, they must have hacked the actual game.... Or Photoshopped it... OR these are from when the game was in beta testing, maybe at some point they didn't write the variant names like they do now... I'm guessing they found the in-game way better, since like this would be hard with characters who have longer names.

Hmm... What if in the next game, a Series 2 or 3 Camo was released, and it could be played on Giants as a Series 2 character?

I would imagine you could use a theoretical blue-base Camo in Giants, and it would play as a series 1 Camo as if it were from SSA

That's what I think will happen, but I think it'd be cool if they snuck the coding for a Series 2 Camo into the game.

Unless they planned ahead when they made Giants, and figured they would eventually release another Camo, no, the game won't recognize him as Series 2. In the same way that SSA doesn't recognize Series 2 figures as "Series 2", the game didn't know Series 2 would be coming and as such doesn't have any coding to recognize or declare it.
