I don't know if anyone's suggested this before, but the "you need at least 5 characters not in a tag to post a message" has bugged me for awhile. Say I want to post something in spoiler tags, I still have to post a sentence on top of it. And if I want to post a reaction image or GIF or a YouTube video I still have to post stuff on top of that. I guess it's not that big of a deal, but I'd at least like it if there was a way to get rid of that for the Stuff & Nonsense board. Most people I see have just resorted to hash marks or periods for the characters anyway. <.<;

But if it's a matter of spam or something, I guess I can understand. >.>

Maybe smilies to count as characters? Than i could say: lol!

I think that our avatars should be able to be more then 30KB. There are so many gifs that are perfect, but just a little two storage-y

I wasn't asking for a solution to changing the Size.

It has already been increased, and that took a bit of time to achieve. I don't really see it changing again any time soon...just use alternate methods to get your gifs working, it sucks, but at least the limit isn't 20kb anymore, hm?

I don't think this is the place to express such an opinion, honestly. I wasn't commenting about Bravo101 himself whatsoever.

Yeah... having topics show the number of views in addition to the number of replies could be useful...

I like the topic read count idea. It would be nice to see if anyone cares about what I post.

Yeah, I'd love a character counter for posts, guestbooks and maybe even PMs... I often forget what the limits are as well. :n

Has been asked for, and denied, many times. Gems are a sign of foum use and not much else

Gems are often mistakenly compared to currency here. It is not. Gems on this site are nothing more than another measure of how long you've been active on the site.

Oh well... I still think that the spyro sprites idea could work, though.

Since my last one had blown up, here's another suggestion: Say you see a topic that shouldn't be on that particular board and think it should be moved. Well, my suggestion is the report to a mod feature could be used to request a topic move or if you are a certain level or above, just move it yourself. There would have to be a notification of a move, though.

Just say to the relevant mod or let them view the topic?

Report to mod, mod reviews topic, topic might be moved based on their judgement.

How about the ability to ignore like on GameFAQs? You don't see the ignored posts, but there is a notification that you are ignoring someone at the bottom, to make up for the missing posts?

That sounds like it can be abused like hell. I see why you'd want it, but I'd also see it as a means for touchy users to ignore any posts from what would otherwise be valid comments. If used correctly, then it could be a useful feature, but it certainly can be used as an unjustified "talk to the hand" mechanism.
