I had great success with Shroomboom's quest... It seems to be designed for this purpose, I count 3 push blocks where enemies are already in position for this! Plus the three turtles count as push blocks, I lined them up as they need to be, then tempt some chompies to where the bouncy pad is, then run around the hedges and push one or both of the available turtles onto them. Rinse and repeat. (I like to bounce up and take out the Troll Grenadier to make him mind his own business).

If you don't happen to have Shroomboom (or his Heroic Challenge - I dislike suggesting things people might not have), I found success on the first chapter, Time Of The Giants. After the Chompy Pit, use the bouncy pads to climb up, and to the left of the exit is the Life Gate. Make your way in, push the block back into place, kill any chompies following you, and drop off on the outside side of the block. This is close enough to draw the chompies towards you, draw them to the inside side of the block, then push it. 3 more towards the quest. Repeat. This Root Runner tends to have a rather large inventory of chompies before it runs out, and is impossible to kill except with a Skylander with an attack that can get him, so you can get pretty far into this quest. With patience, you can probably finish it from beginning to end.

I did that! It worked beautifully, but I kept forgetting that I had a time limit lol

There was one part at Troll home security that I remember working pretty well.

Prism Break's heroic challenge also helps with this quest. Paired with Shroomboom's challenge...you'll pretty much have it completed.
