WHAT? Why is this the first I'm hearing of this?

i tried to get my only friend who lives in new york to get one for me, but he had to work i guess ill be waiting till its in stores like most everyone else here

I was like the 30th person in line at Times Square TRU. All in all I think there were about 200 people who showed up at peak, though I pretty much just got my Ninjini and left so I don't really know if they gave them all away. Rumor is that they had 300 Ninjinis.

What were the rules.
I see the ebay folks are only posting one at a time, the ones that are trying to fetch a ton of money.

I have half a mind to bid on all those auctions and not pay.
But I don't want to ruin my perfect feedback.

What you do, Neo, is drive up the price of those auctions, and make the suckers who were stupid enough to pay that amount, pay more. Those who are helping scalpers, deserve to pay for it in my eyes. Sorry to sound so condescending, but it makes me sick.

Well, everything I know about the rules was told to me by other people in line so I don't know if it's all correct. But what I heard was that it was 1 Ninjini per person UNLESS you were a parent with kids present. If you had your kids there, ONLY the kids would get Ninjinis while you yourself wouldn't. (But I guess if you're a parent, you can just use your kid's Ninjini when you feel like it...)

did all 300 get put on ebay?? i wish activision would just drop ninjini in stores like TOMORROW. so the scalpers can stop trying to rip people off.

My wife, my brother, my son and I got to NYS TRU TS line at 2. Alot of ppl there. First I was told the bracelets got you Ninjini and that the stamp on the hand was for prizes and such. I explained to the girl stamping hands and handing out bracelet that we each were there to get Ninjini. Then when we got to where Ninjini was I'm told its one per a family. No where did it state this nor did someone say this was the case. My brother and I were like well my wife is with her son, we want ours, we got those pretty quick. My wife flat out said she aint leaving till she gets hers and just stood there. She wasnt leaving without one, nor did I blame her. About like a 1min later they gave in and gave her it. Now I could understand not wanting to give two to a person, but adults are fans to its not just a kids game. If i were told it was one per a family i would have went to NYC alone and saved paying for 3 tickets round trip. It all worked out in the end thou we got our 4 giants to play and use. they werent mean about it or anything they just seemed to say what they were told to and then not care lol.

I'm not going to lie ive done that in auctions. I push some stuff up just cause i dont want some one to get it for nothing But i'd never buy a common non variant skylander off ebay for over retail price. I waited like a smart person for thumpback and eye brawl to show up in the store and got them both last night for retail. Not a penny more. Its the people who pay way too much that cause people to clean the store shelves of new skylanders and put them on ebay.

EDIT: wow i just looked up ninjini and people want $300 for the ones in hand! Thats insane...Is there even a special marking on the package that says its a limited version? Not that i can see. But yet theyre being advertised as 1 of 300

It's crazy how people want alot of money for just one skylander. But ugh Ninijini is my favorite Giant but sadly I had no way of being able to take advantange of the free ninjini even if I did know about it in time well hopefully though this means that she'll be in stores here soon. Gotta save up money for her because I spent it on getting Mario Kart 7 (This was because on my Club nintendo account I was only 40 coins from Gold status).

^ This. SOOOOO this! They released all the other Giants - I should know, I have all 7 - and the one I've wanted most, from the START, they're delaying. Promotional events like this usually only predate the release date by like a week... But if the release date was that soon we would have heard some concrete release date news long before now. I really wish I could have attended, but New York City is too far away, it's too much of a major undertaking to go. Couple that with being between jobs, I couldn't even consider it (though I read about it on another thread here well in time).

I second that emotion! I really would like to see how she looks lit up! Video could be good too, focusing on the real figure not the gameplay (I've seen video of her gameplay).

It's only know after uploading it to my computer that I see she looks a bit derpy. Basically, her head lights up and the bottom half of her lights up as well. I actually feel like they should've given her the Swarm/Bouncer type eye instead because it just seems like her head is about to explode.

Hnngh, so my prototype isn't much different..

But mine lights up a LOT brighter in the head and less in the "genie tail".

Quite frankly, I would have liked it if her head didn't light up at all. It just looks so...unusual (plus, you can see the specks of her paint job and it bugs me lol). I'm glad the tail lights up, just wanted it to light up more.

Anyways, can't wait for Scarlet!

I think her eyes should've Glown in the dark and her bottle should light up.

Hey Hex, can you post a pic of Ninjini next to Swarm for me, and a shot of Ninjini from her right (sword heading towards her back) side, standing right next to Tree Rex who is also facing the same direction?

I won't have my Ninjini's until Monday, but am just curious how deep that sword makes her, compared to the bark on Tree Rex's back.

Wow, one family got 4 skylanders out of 300. And you've opened all 4 and played them? Interesting.

I think she should've lit up like like lightcore Drobot did. Just put a little spot on her back somewhere the size of a dime and make that light up. It's AWESOME! Seriously though her light effect is pretty good compared to alot of others.

Her ponytail makes her only a smidgen taller. Not that significant.

Her right next to Tree Rex.

She eclipses Tree but he's still thicker than her AND her swords are bendable.

Ooohhh, my Ninjini's ponytail is actually lower down!
