I actually find them all to be fast. There is honestly no excuse to think Tree Rex, Crusher, Swarm, Hot Head, and Thumpback are slow because they have speed moves. As for Bouncer and Eye Brawl, I think they're both fast. Who agrees with me?

Crushers speed move is his third attack (the attack you have to buy from Persephone).

Hot Head turns into a BIKE, which is awesome and makes him the fastest giant by far, Tree Rex is fast when he's on the the charging path, and Eye Brawl's... just slightly slow

Eye Brawl is fast even box stock. If you think he's slow, do some speed heroics with him.

It's the Juggernaut rule:
Strong but slow. They are slower than most skylanders...but not by much.

They arent that slow though. There are a lot of regulanders that are slower than them. But the more agile characters might be of the smaller variety. And yes, I said regulanders.

Well, to be honest, when walking normal (without using a "speed move"), most of the giants ARE slow. However, that's what heroic challenges and hats are for.

Most giants have a speed stat of 20/68. Bouncer has 60/108. I do not have ninjini.
compare with the small characters who will have either 35/83 ( ), 43/91 ( ) or 50/98 ( ) Because of previously mentioned speed boost attacks, the stat is rather deceptive and likely the main reason for calling certain characters slow. |

Speed doesn't always refer to how quickly the Giant moves, although that does apply to a couple. It can also refer to rate of attack, and yes, in that regard, many of them are quite slow. Especially on their melee paths. Personally, when I refer to a Giant as slow, I'm usually talking about attack delay. I think a lot of other people mean that too. Then again, I could always be wrong.

I think when people say "slow", they mean
And it's a standard rule of gaming. Heavy-hitting high damage is usually slow to compensate. Medieval games always have that with weapons. A two-handed broadsword causes high encumberence and swings slow, but does a lot of damage whenever it hits, as opposed to a light dagger, which moves fast but does low damage. It's the same way here, to balance gameplay. Giants have strong attacks that tend to do a lot of damage, and they can even simply step on small enemies and breakables, so they move slow. Look at it this way: If you have two players, one is a Giant (ANY Giant), the other is a medium-to-fast non-Giant Skylander, you'll see the standard Skylander constantly outpace the Giant, if the Giant doesn't use any speed tricks like Swarm's flight. Yes, I said medium-to-fast. The slower normal Skylanders, there might be a question. Nobody said they're slower than ALL Skylanders, it's just that with speed they're below the average. The quicker way to say that is "Giants are slow". As far as I'm concerned, this is why some Heroic Challenges now have one or more Speed Boosts, because the Giants are slower and need the help to finish in time.
