According to target.com it is not sold online (figures) but also not sold in stores. I didn't realize it was that much of a limited edition.

It appears that it has been retired already. I would keep an eye out in target stores as some have appeared in them from time to time.

I've been looking since November, and even then I've only seen one in the wild. Luckily, I got him as soon as I could.

Any store exclusive (especially Target) should be treated as a rarity as soon as it hits shelves. Target especially- since they tend to not be as good about keeping exclusive items as say walmart. So its always good to nab them when your able.

I nabbed my Granite Crusher on day 2. And have one hang'n out in the closet...just'n case.

Over here in Aus, Big W had it before christmas, and the one I go to had a big wall full of them, if I had money I would have bought one, I have one already but another one would be nice to play with.

Am sure your from the UK? Where did you find him? Never ever saw them in Tesco and were sold out online since November. I got my from ebay luckily won it for £18 so wasn't so bad.

I got 2 on day of release...not seen him in any Tesco since then (He is Tesco exclusive in the UK)

So we all know Granite Crusher was a TARGET exclusive. Now, they aren't found in stores nor online. Does anyone have any scoop where I can pick up a legimitate copy without resorting to eBay? (ie will this be offered among other retailers much like SSA Whirlwind exclusive).

Seriously, this forum needs to work on seeing if there's a thread about what they're asking before they post it. I mean, like seriously, I posted a thread regarding the status of Granite Crusher a day ago.

The deja-vu in this forum is ridiculous, kids.

Like others have said, target doesn't continue with things like this cause they don't want stuff hitting clearance. They prop figured it would be good for the release of the game into xmas. They ended it there.

Folks if you want anything like this you need to get it EARLY- I managed to get 2 on day 2. So I'm good to go. For those who didn't well....looks like its ebay for you then.

Wasn't my intent. I'm usually good at this stuff but frankly it's sifting through mounds of stuff. Would be nice if the mods had a FAQ for threads that get reposted, then I can go to my topic easily.

Word on the street? WTF can't Activision give us info here. Oh, and I love their "Where are the skylanders" in the support forum. Absolutely useless. Folks want specifics.

Funny. I had my hands on several and thought I didn't need to get him "just yet". Oh well. I'm not going to feebay for this.

They have been getting them in everyweek or so in New Hampshire. They are limited like 1 or 2 here and there but they are still around.

The stores still have signs up about him, but haven't seen him in a while. Apparently Target doesn't do ongoing promotions like that, they go through their initial orders (which are apparently still available in a few areas) and never re-order. TRU and Walmart seem to treat it differently - TRU did several reprints of Legendaries and Blue Bash, and I still find Red DS and GiTD SB and Starters with GiTD Cynder all the time so the must have ordered in huge bulk. I bought 5 GiTD Sonic Booms from one Walmart (it's a goodie bag prize for my son's Skylander Theme Birthday party) and they still have a ton of them left.

In the end, if you even have an inkling of a desire for a store exclusive figure, it's best to get it ASAP. Even if you later decide you aren't going to want variants, you can sell it to someone that does. But, deciding to get it later you won't always be able to do. Especially for a Target exclusive.

Last time I saw him at any target in my area was Christmas Eve. I bought him but had to wait until the next day to open it.

Tesco has them back in stock

I ordered mine from mediamarkt.de a couple of weeks ago for 14,99 EUR. But it's gone now.

It's not up to the retailer to decide to continue to sell him. Target had a limited release and sold through them before Christmas. If you find one now, it's likely to be extra stock that was sitting in the stores stock room. They won't be getting any more shipments in of him.

Mentioned the same earlier- ANYTIME there's a store-exclusive figure (especially target) you need to treat it as a rarity right away. Target isn't known to keep exclusive anythings long at all.

Sorry you missed out- but I'm sure theres some chance of you getting him eventually if your persistant.

I don't know how much use it will be to anyone outside of Australia, but Big W (who has the Granite Crusher exclusive here) has him available on their website here.
