So I'm trying to get wrecking balls heroic challenges complete like 20 but maybe some days later I check and it says I haven't completed them??!? Very frustrating it only happened with him and chop chop.

this happened to me many times in giants
but it just hasnt fully loaded yet so i just do another heroic challenge and when u ask cali again
it should have completely
loaded

Just checking in on whether or not the issue has been resolved for you! You have to be the owner of the Skylander in order to unlock it's Heroic Challenge. Take ownership of the champion by pressing the "Select" button on the PS3, the "Back" button on the Xbox 360, or the "-" button on the Wii. This takes you to the "Manage" tab on the Skylander info page. Select "Ownership" and choose yes.

I've also heard that this problem with saving can happen if the portal is too close to other electronics, like your console or the TV for (obvious) examples. If your portal is within a foot or so of other active (powered) electronics, try moving the portal further away.

Just to backup niceguy's statement: I have a plasma TV and I was having tons of issues with my portal/skylanders/giants until I backed my portal away from my TV. Everything has been working perfectly since I've done this.
