Most people stay quiet about it since it's not worth giving a crap about. These people are just probably quiet and have no interest of saying how they stand with Derpy unless they are asked directly.

I don't care about Derpy at all. I hate the name Derpy Hooves, I really prefer Ditzy Doo.
But I don't dislike her. I sure do dislike her rabid fanbase though.

Yeah , I think thats another reason why most people hate bronies... Not because of the cloppers or anything...but they cause many flame wars on youtube , especially if someone used some speech or sound effect from mlp..then the bronies point them out and freak out about it

^ If I remember correctly, it was Daniel Ingram himself that hinted pre-season 3 that there would be "many series of many lengths" in the future, implying that the 13 episode length wouldn't be carried on into season 4.

Still, leaves me to wonder why this series was so short? Maybe they wanted to focus on the big story of the finale and things like the test in ep's 1 and 2, the Alicorn Amulet, Discord being reformed ETC all have links to the finale and it was easier to associate these connections in a smaller time frame?

...Just guessing.
