So as I'm sure those with of you the BradyGames Giants Walkthrough book already know, the map they provided for Chapter 15 is incorrect, and a duplicate of the Chapter 16 map!! I am wondering if anyone has found or created an accurate arial Map for this Chapter yet?

Quite a lot of bad things I've seen/heard about this book now.

^ Yeah, it's by the same people who did the first one, BradyGames, but for some reason they really dropped the ball on this Giants one!! I'd love to find a real arial map for Chapter 15 though!!

I just bought the book to get 100% of the items and got to Arkus only to find the map is wrong.

Has Brady released a corrected version, or anyone have a map available??

How come BradyGames always make so many stupid mistakes in their game guides? Spelling errors, incorrect advice, the list goes on and on.

The thing is, there are two ways to make a map. The first is to have debugging access to the game, to move the camera from where it should be to high overhead, aim it down and basically take a screenshot. The second is to lovingly recreate what you see from an overhead view. The first basically requires being with or affiliated with Activision (or a game tester studio they might use, and since the game is out they won't have the game anymore). The second requires a LOT of patience and work and artistic skill.

Without help from Activision, I don't see a map becoming available, I think you'll have to settle for walkthroughs.

OR there should be a place where the map was released after it was found out that the incorrect image was used in the BradyGames Book.

...If the game exists for the computer, does it? I've never seen it available, other than the online community version... There's a LOT less hacking potential in the console versions, as usually they remove the debugging tools before releasing the game... Wish I had that skill level,

Well of course that's the possibility with the most potential (forgot to mention that one). It seems like the decent thing for them to do after that misprint. But it's a lot more likely if people file a complaint or request or something with them than discussing it on here.

I checked with the BradyGames site and they did not have an update to the missing map. So, I filed a complaint with them and have yet to hear from them about. Poor customer service on their part.

BTW - I know we're looking for a map, I find some humor in this feat. It is a LOST CITY after all. Just sayin'.

I sent them a message (despite not having the guide lawl) so I'll see what they respond back with. Hopefully we can get like a pdf of it or something.

Ideally, they *should* give you guys a free version of the digital version guide (which you can buy from their site). That'd be the easiest thing for them to do rather than recall the ones that are out or print new ones.

ONE complaint doesn't tend to get results. If they get a bunch of requests/complaints, if they get enough they'll respond, even if it's just to shut people up. So the more people who complain and/or request a replacement map, the more likely they'll do it. Simple.

I JUST FIGURED OUT THE PROBLEM! BradyGames couldn't include the map because Kaos smashed it after finding it at the Secret Vault Of Secrets!

They also gave the wrong info for Crusher's quest.

Another wrong mistake is that it said terrifins catchphrase was its beatin time

For all those asking about this I've been in contact with BradyGames who have issued me with a corrected PDF version of Page 212 (Chapter 15 Map).

So I can confirm they have acknowledged the mis-print and a correction is available!

My guide book has the Chapter 16 map twice but when I was at Toys R Us today their guide book had the actual Chapter 15 map.
Didn't take any pics of it though.
