Are they still making this guy? Nowhere around me has him, and that includes 8 different Wallgreen's that I've checked. Is there any hope for me to find one (other than buy paying scalper prices)??

Unfortunately, probably ebay will be your best choice. They do appear though occasionally at random stores when they set out something that's old.

Yeesh. If only we would have known to pick up these guys when we saw them back during the drought of SSA!

He is discontinued as of now. Where do you live? I have a nearby ToysRUs that has a lot of Wave 1 boxes..

North Carolina. My TRU has quite a few from SSA, but they're mostly Hex and Sonic Boom. No Boomers. My area is pretty good overall really. I've found everything for Giants...I got Scorpion Striker on day one without pre-ordering, I've seen Eyebrawl and Thumpback in 5 different stores, and I've seen everything that's been released so far actually for Giants (except variants). Just no Boomer anywhere.

I find it funny how when he first came out, no one wamted him. He was on everyself, taking up space. No everyone wants him but hes as elusive as Wham Shell

My TRU also had about 5-6 Wham Shells a couple weeks ago. I picked one up. I didn't start collecting until Giants came out, so I just wanted to get all the characters they stopped making. I got the other 7, just not Boomer.

I have one if u want him.

I ended up ebay ing him. Couldn't find him anywhere. Now all I need is a series 1 zap.

Other 7? you do realize that S:SA has a total of 32 characters with 37 different (non variant) figures right?

Yes, I just meant that I wanted the 8 figures that were not made for Giants (i.e. Sunburn, Ghost Roaster, Warnado, Camo, etc.)

Ya I did that too. I wanted to get the none new ones. however I came across some good deals on the rest of them and ended up getting all of spyros adventure. FYE had $40 backpacks with diffrent 3 packs of spyros in them. They clearanced them to $20 and had a BOCO 50%. Add the 10% from the rewards and i got them cheap. I just now have to sell or give away the backpacks.

I had to ebay thou the 3 pack of boomer and the 3 pack with zap and dino. that cost me near $100 total so I prob just broke even with everything in the end.

I'm looking for Series 1 Boomer (single) sealed too.. All Evil-Bay ranges are $30 and up, crazy!..

I randomly found him over holiday break in Missouri where my mom lives in some small Walmart thats not even a supercenter. They had him, Zook, and Voodood and I got all 3.

I would assume that all of the re-poses from SSA will just be called "Series 2", whether they were the 24 that were released with Giants or the 8 that will be released with a future game. I wonder if they will ever produce S2 figs for the original four legendaries or Dark Spyro?

We had better not see any "Series 2" figs for the new guys (Chill, Pop Fizz, etc). People were saying that the whole point of the S2 figs was to overcome the limitations of the S1 figs.

I found Sunburn at Walmart...they had several of the Dragon's Peak packs.
Dino-Rang at Walgreen's.
Voodood at several Walgreen's.
Wham Shell at TRU.
Camo/Warnado in a 3 pack at TRU. I saw the individual packs for each of them at Walgreen's also.
Ghost Roaster at Walmart also.

I've seen all of them at several places actually.

I didn't realize that Walgreens sold Skylanders...

I see camo triple packs, hex, stealth elf, prism break, sonic boom, wham shell, the dragon's peak pack, the empire of ice pack, and the pirate seas pack and other in more quantity than the new guys at TRU lol

I had always held out hope that camo and the other orphaned characters wouls somehow come back with an adventure pack or. two.
After looking at the prototype figureas in the toys for bob offices it looks like they have some more tricks up thier sleeves. It will be fun to see what they announce in the coming weeks.
