I believe there's a difference from "Own Backgrounds" and what joerox is asking for, an "Own Background" would be something like a Anime background, what he says is like sparx's face at the end of posts just like dark and hunters have. Woldn't be "Own" still, it would look better.

I think that red sparx's need a red-recolored sparx, greens need green sparx, and so on.

I took X-Treme's post and photoshopped it may look something like this with the Sparx Symbol:

That looks pretty cool but i think it would be like a cartoon him not a 3d one if Dark does agree

Here it is, I know it doesn't make sense that X-Treme has a green sparx, but he's a red sparx.

I would take it and totally over do it. Like a big: X-TREME in red behind my own posts.

I HAD an X-Treme in flames behind my posts, but they were moderated. and just an fyi, i had the background of the posts on photoshop, typed X-Treme in flames, and faded it. then i used the sites font and typed my message on the file. than i uploaded the final picture and posted it, i didnt hack the site.

Why did they get moderated?!

It was reported as spam/trolling because he was uploading all messages as photos instead of text. I think some found the message a little hard on the eyes.

Nothing was wrong per se but, if this started a trend where a lot of users were doing the same thing I think reading the message board could become very hard to focus on content of text.

I think that dark would hate to see this forum be overrun with custom backgrounds. And i admit, i didnt fade the lettering enough.

I think it should be the Anime Sparx like the Anime Spyro and Hunter. But it looks amazing anyway.

Nope, I don't think it's a good idea. It would make the "Hunters" blend in with the users of the forum, and I think that they should be more noticeable. Just like the police are in real life, they wear uniforms to become noticeable for what they do.
