so you buy all the upgrades for s2 stealth elfs pook blade saint path, and you wnt to do the forest ninja path, so you just hit "switch paths" with the upgrade fairy, and you can play on the other path!

Basically, he's saying if you buy upgrades on Path 1, then switch to Path 2 and play for a while, when you switch back to Path 1 you'll have all of the upgrades on that path you previously purchased.

Actually, no, I didn't know that, thanks for sharing! Does it work for Series 1? Because it sounds like this is something special for Series 2, and maybe just the rereleased characters....

No, not for Series 1. What will the powers be for Skylanders 3?

This is good info. I was a little afraid to swtich paths because I thought that switching back would mean re-buying all the upgrades on the first path. It's nice to hear that once you buy the upgrades, you can switch back and forth without re-buying upgrades.

I've already done this on a couple people. It's sweet.

I wanted to try this with Jet Vac (Lightcore, to be specific), and I guess I'm missing the "how"... Either that, or this doesn't work on Newlanders. Or it doesn't work on fully upgraded characters. I understood that you have to go to Persephone, the fairy you buy upgrades from, and somehow there's a "Switch Path" option. But when I went, I just got the usual "This Skylander has bought all the upgrades on the chosen path", all I can do is select Okay or whatever. No option to change paths. What am I missing?

My nephews were in town this weekend with their S2 Chop Chop, so I finally got a chance to see this and Wow Pows. They hadn't upgraded or really played with him, so I had to play a while, but as soon as he was far enough to pick a path, there was the Change Path button! Yay! Also got his Wow Pow, a nice lunge with the shield, FAR more effective than the shield attack he already had.
