We need to have a 200KB limit so I can have the high quality Pokemon gifs as my avatar. I'm sick of using cheap emerald animations.

It's a limitation, and you don't need those avis, and besides larger images have been denied.

It has already been increased from 20kb to 30kb. It is likely to not be increased any time soon.

Yeah no. That's way too much of a data size jump. Even raising it to 40kb is going to take a while, as it was raised to 30 not too long ago.

I think there should be an option to link to an avatar that exceeds the limit but is hosted on another site, for those that prefer having fancy, large in data size avatars.
