I know this one was fairly abundant overseas at one point - wondering if it still is.

Never managed to get one and I was checking eBay - they're still going for above what I want to pay - I'm wondering if I should just bite the bullet or hold out?

I don't foresee the price coming down anytime soon. The overseas exclusiveness of it will continue to drive a demand, especially for Americans.

My advice: find someone on this forum that you can reasonably trust and make a deal to get one.

NB: at the time of my first post above i had 2 extra gitd fright riders. both of these have now been requested. i do not have any more.

I think it was also available in Australia that's also a PAL region I guess that's why.

I'm sure it was gitd Fright Rider, I just looked it up and apparently other people have seen tons of them at their local Kmart too.
So much for UK exclusive.

I know its not availablae from Argos in the UK now so supply will be getting limited. I had 4 of them shipped over to me from the UK. Kept one and have sold 2 others. I am trading my last one for Flocked Stumpy and WERDS.

I got my GITD Fright Rider on ebay a while ago for 35 free shipping (From the UK) - not bad considering what he was once going for around that time. Which is basically when he first came out over there D:
