dark52 should actually make two links for it, The Dark Master and Malefor, so when we look up either one we'd find it anyway.

Can't it just be Dark Master? Yes THE Dark Master is grammaticly correct but even so.

Pretty much because that's his name, TDM is his nick name and anti-climatic is what he is.

Dark52 hasn't change the name from 'The Dark Master' to the name Malefor ever since 2008. <.< Malefor is a more common name than the other title now since DotD.
