This is the only spyro series I have not played. I have played the classic and skylanders series. I noticed a new beginning was 800 microsoft points on xbox live. If it is worth playing, should I download it?

If it doesn't cost you too much, then why not just try it out? But let me tell you, it is much different from Skylanders and the original Spyro games.

A New Beginning is probably the better one of the LoS games.

I suppose I'll give it a shot then. When I get more microsoft points of course. Also, is there any reason why eternal night was never made for either xbox?

I don't have a clue. It's strange though considering ANB and DOTD was made for the Xbox, well DOTD for the Xbox 360.

I wouldn't, you'll probably beat them in one sitting because they are short and easy.

ANB and TEN are okay and I fun with them. I wouldn't recommend DotD, unless you really care about playing the whole trilogy. <.<;

They're quite diffrent from the clasics and Skylanders, but if you don't mind diffrent, then yeah, it's great.

To be honest, the only one of the trilogy I've actually completed is DotD. I should really fix that sometime.

It depends on whether you will be effected by the massive changes.

The Legend of Spyro is really different to the classics, and it's the exact opposite. It's serious compared to the classics and Skylander's bright and happy nature. Its combat system is also a lot different.

I personally didn't like the series because it's no what I was originally used to, growing up with the classics and all. I also hated the combat system. However, if the changes doesn't bother you, then you may like it. I think you should just try A New Beginning and see if you like it.

Ok, thanks. I'll definitely give it a try when I get more money. I'm going to close the topic now.
