Plot: Anguis. The world of dragons. Uninhabited by man or monster. This was said to be the first of many worlds created. A pure land, untouched by civilization, save for a few small simple cities that the dragons created themselves. Twelve clans of different kinds of dragons exist and thrive here, each with different powers and ways of life. Their world came first, and they were said to use their magic to create the other worlds and their inhabitants. All was peaceful, until one particular dragon was not happy with the way things were. He felt he didn't have enough power, and he wanted it all for himself. He wanted to rule over the dragon world as its only true king. But before he could succeed, a band of heroic dragons stopped him, and he was banished from their world. He was forced through a portal, cursed to live a life away from his kind in a different form. He ended up in the world of humans, appearing to be one himself, although he still had his magic. With no one powerful enough to stop him, he set out to rule the world of mortals. As he was just beginning to get his plans together, a rift opened up. His banishment had caused a series of portals to randomly open and close in several different worlds. Creatures that had been near them when they opened had been sucked through against their will, thrown into a new land, and taking the form of that world's inhabitants. Dragons and monsters of all kinds were thrown into the world of man, as well as all kinds of other worlds. It is up to these creatures to band together, prevent the power hungry dragon from ruling the world, and find a way to get back home.

Our journey begins in the world of Mortalis, the land of humans. You are a creature or dragon of some kind that has been sucked through a portal. You still have your powers, and whatever your true form is, but you have gained a human form as a cover. After all, magic and creatures do not exist naturally in this medieval world. You must blend in with the humans to prevent panic. It is up to you to band together with others like you, and stop an evil foe from ruling this world. Then you must find a way to get back home.

The Council of Wyrms:
The council is a group of old, wise, and powerful dragons that control more elements than any other dragon. They are considered the highest authority. They make the rules and lay down the law. All serious matters that effect dragon kind and their world as a whole will be dealt with personally by this council, or at least discussed and then a duty will be passed on to a suitable dragon or group of dragons. Only the leaders of each individual clan, and other types of special guardians, can meet up with the council and talk with them directly. They are even said to choose these leaders and guardians themselves. Each member of the council has about four elements, and represents a certain number of dragon clans.
The Fire Wyrm: Elements of Fire, Plasma, Rage, and Fear. Clans representing are; Ambur, Areitem, and Jalopeura. Has control over flame, heat, lava, anger, and nightmares. Represents the sun, courage, warmth, impulses, temperments, passion, and desire.
The Earth Wyrm: Elements of Earth, Steel, Nature, and Anima. Clans representing are; Toreador, Solterra, and Hircum. Has control over rock, soil, iron, plants, and animals. Represents life itself, the world they live in, stability, strength, and protection.
The Air Wyrm: Elements of Air, Weather, Lightning, and Light. Clans representing are; Ventus, Connatus, and Vaga. Has control over wind, natural storms, eletricity, and only the visual aspect of light. Represents change, freedom, wisdom, and peace.
The Water Wyrm: Elements of Water, Ice, Poison, and Psion. Clans representing are; Peixe, Akrepi, and Gaforre. Has control over all forms of water, cold and snow, acid and venom, and psychic abilities. Represents the heart, family, the moon, intuition, and loyalty.
The Balance Wyrm: Elements of Spirit, Convexity, Light (Yang), Shadow (Yin). Represents the guardians, is head of the council, and considered the highest authority of all dragons. Represents life and death, the power of destruction, good and evil. Believed to be the oldest dragon in existance, and also is replaced fewer times than any other dragon job.
There is no known way to become a member of the council, but it is rumored that the current members were once ordinary dragons that banded together to vanquish evil. As a reward for their noble service, they became council members, and supposedly replaced the former council.

The Twin Guardians:
Time and Space: There is a dragon that controls one of these elements, and another that has control over the remaining element. These two must always have a close bond, must be siblings, and apparently must be twins. At least, that's the way it has always been.
Time: One controls time, keeping track of all events from the past, present and future. It is their job to record all events in books and make sure that time itself is running smoothly and that every event lines up and so forth. They have a variety of abilities, such as time travel, speeding up or slowing down time, immense knowledge of all historical events, the power to foresee things well into the future and look back well into the past, etc. It is not their job to fight or have social interactions, but to keep track of time and fix it if it is tampered with.
Space: The other controls space, and keeps track of all worlds and galaxies. It is their job to know of every location, every world, every galaxy and planet, in existence. They have vast knowledge of all these places and can openly travel to any of them at will. They also take on the form of whatever creature inhabits that world. They know exactly when one world is in peril or at war. It is their job to make sure that these worlds are in harmony with each other, and do not overlap. Such events could lead to chaos, or worse, and it is their job to prevent and fix such instances. They can sense every rift and portal, and open and close them at will. But not all at once.
Both:These two are always seen together, as they are always twins, and must work together. With their powers combined, they can travel to any time and place, take on any form they desire, and fix problems in time and space easier together. When they travel, they each can only travel with one other, minus themselves. They also can sense each other and teleport to the others location, even across time and space, but can only do so alone. They keep track of everything that happens in every world, and report to the highest authorities of each world to help them keep everything running smoothly. Even with their immense powers, they can't do everything alone, or all at once, and must often rely on the help of others to fix things, particularly the larger problems. No one knows for sure what form they were born with, since they can have any, and appear as the form of those they are working with. But some believe them to be dragons, since they were said to be the first species to exist. Others believe their natural form to change, depending on who takes on the job.

The Rival Guardians:
Light and Shadow: Unlike the guardians of time and space that are twins, these two are usually not related at all, and also hate each others guts. Now neither one is essentially good or evil, and they do not try to kill each other every time they meet. Instead, they are mere rivals of each other that don't exactly get along. These two are not meant to fight or represent anything. Instead, these two serve another purpose. Rather being good and evil, they are more like Yin and Yang. They are different for a purpose, to balance each other out. That is their purpose: balance. It is their job, although rivals, to kind of work together to ensue that the world is in balance. This responsibility goes beyond good and evil.
Light: Light is like Yang. Light shines brightly, burning like the sun, warm like fire. It is fast-paced and focused. Usually quick tempered and aggressive. Typically masculine, but gender makes no difference really. Unlike the actual element of light that a normal dragon can control, this power goes beyond just the spectrum and visual aspect of light itself. It is considered the inner goodness in someone, the will to do the right thing. And yet, there is also a dark side to this as well. It is also said to represent life and resurrection. The Guardian of Light is said to represent good, although he does no such thing. He can be evil, just like any other dragon.
Shadow: Shadow is like Yin. Shadow is dark, retreating from the light and hiding where it can not be seen. it is slow, cold, and calculating. Cunning and stealthy, Shadow is quiet, soft, and passive. Typically feminine, but can be either gender. Shadow is not evil, nor does it represent such a thing. Shadow is the call to the dark side, an inner desire to be bad that lies within everyone. But Shadow is not evil, simply tempted by selfish desire. However, Shadow has a light side as well. As Light becomes dark, Shadow takes its place as the light. They are always at odds with each other, and always will be. Shadow is said to represent evil, of which it does not. Shadow is also said to represent death and the afterlife.
Both:These two are never seen, at least not in their true form. They can be anything, anyone. They are always lurking, their presence always felt, yet never sensed or known of for sure. They meddle in everyday life, forever balancing out the elements of light and dark. Light inspires those to do acts by good will and good intentions, even though the deed may be evil. Shadow tempts those by their desires, a longing to care only for self, whether the act be good or evil. They can use any means necessary to keep this balance, except manipulate against free will. They can only persuade, but it is hard to say no.

Rules:
*No Godmodding

*No Mary Sues/Gary Stus. Your characters need to have flaws and weaknesses.

*Romance allowed, but take it to PM if it goes too far.

*This is set in medieval times, so no guns, cars, or technology.

*No more than two elements/powers per character.

*You can not have the elements of Time, Space, or Shadow. You can only choose from the elements of the dragon clans, and this goes for other creatures as well. You CAN mix and match elements, but you must explain a reason for this. For example, your parents were like a fire dragon and a water dragon, so you can use fire and water. But keep in mind that mating outside of your clan, or at least outside of your main element (like the water clans) is highly frowned upon and considered against the rules, even though there is no real law against it.

*Limit to two characters for now. This may change later.

*Do not steer away from the main plot without my permission, please. If you have an idea, great, share it in OOC or through PM or something. Don't just go along with it without consent.

*As the GM, I'll be controlling major characters, like the dragon council, elemental guardians, the villains, etc. I'll also control some minor characters and random people if needed. You CAN control some minor, nameless characters that don't belong to anyone, and kill off random bad guys and whatnot. I don't care about that. Just don't go overboard with it.

*In case you haven't figured it out, you can be any creature. Be creative, but don't overpower your character. The world in which you came from doesn't matter right now. We can get to that later. So you're not required to have info on your home world just yet. If this RP lives, we'll likely travel around to all different kinds of worlds and have different plots or whatever.

Personality: Castus is very timid and fearful. He has no backbone, no confidence at all. He can't and never will stand up for himself. He is highly dependent on others, as he is deemed too weak and useless to do anything on his own. He is not at all evil, and he means well, but no matter how good his intentions are, everything always goes wrong. It seems that he can't be good no matter how hard he tries, but he doesn't want to be evil. He doesn't even want to work for his master, but he has no choice in the matter.

Type of Magic/Elements: He can control the element of darkness. He can manipulate shadows, hide and travel through shadows and dark places, and corrupt someone who is good.

Dragon Form: Uncertain. Is said to be simply a large, dark shadow of a dragon, with no definite physical form. Very few have ever even seen his dragon form, and those that have are no longer around to give a detailed description.

Armor: He doesn't use any actual armor, but he can manipulate his shadow element to create good armor out of dark energy. He has a set of armor he likes to create using his magic *seen above* that he usually only wears if he is posing as an evil villain.

Weapons: Like the armor, he can use his magic to create various types of weapons.

Other Equip.: He usually isn't allowed to use any, since he is considered a bumbling fool who will most likely break something.

History: Unknown.

Other: He is highly skilled with his magic, however he hates using it. He hates doing evil. He won't even corrupt someone unless his master forces him to. He is simply a pawn, a puppet in the grand scheme of things. He is believed to be the main villain, and poses as such, but against his will.

Personality: He appears very outspoken and noble. He is quick to socialize and make friends with anyone he meets. He is seen as very charming. He is often going on about wanting to do good in the world, stop the forces of darkness, and make the world a better place. His courage, charm, and strong desire to help others makes him very popular among the people.

Type of Magic/Elements: Unknown. He is never actually seen using magic.

Other: He is a knight, or at least poses as one. He known for all around in the human world for his strength and skill as a warrior, and also his pure and noble heart. He is said to be one of the highest ranking knights, yet he works for no one kingdom. He offers his services to all, and many have high respect for him. He will help bring everyone together and help you to defeat the bad guy. But he wants to be in charge and give out the orders.

Race: Human

Personality: As a werewolf, Darren is forced to manage two personalities. There's his normal self and their's the feral beast within him. The ring normally suppresses his "feral" personality, however his inner beast gets stronger as the full moon approaches. As this personality comes out, he may become slightly aggressive and may wish to be alone. When the full moon finally arrives, the full personality will come out and he'll likely be forced to transform. When he's more "normal", however, he's glad to have friends (if any) and can be quite loyal. He can be brave when he needs to be, but tends to become more cautious as the full moon approaches. His sanity depends on the presence of the ring and would change greatly without it. For more details concerning this, see "Other Equip" and "Other."
Type of Magic/Powers/Elements: Cursed w/ Lycanthropy (permanent)
Appearance: Due to his curse, Darren has two forms...
Human form - In his human form, he's average height and has dark blond hair. He has hazel eyes.

Armor: He wears leather armor for light protection
Weapons: His main weapon of choice is a simple bow, though it's mainly used for hunting. he also has a Scimitar, which could be used for close combat. In ether case, he has only really fought bandits and lesser foes.
Other Equip.: He processes the "Ring of Hircine", which is vital to managing his curse. If he were to lose it, his full feral personality would come out and he would be forced to transform on a nightly basis. With the presence of the ring, however, he only has to transform when the full moon comes. The ring also allows him to transform on his own if he so chooses. In ether case, he maintains some degree of control and can avoid harming humans and other humanoids. If someone else were to take his ring, that individual would be granted limited transformations. This power, however, would come at a cost. The ring would act as an addiction and would first gibe them a small taste... and it would feel good. Each additional use would bring about longer transformations, but also introduce the chance of contracting lycanthropy itself. They might even go insane and the ring would control their whole life. For other werewolves, it would provide control similar to what it offered Darren. Meanwhile, his life would quickly go downhill. This ring may or may not be unique to his realm/universe.
Other: Darren has rather permanent strain of lycanthropy. His has the stronger strain and thus has the greater curse. While his strain would normally include nightly transformations, lesser strains tend to be limited to the full moon. This is the result of being bitten by a "purebreed" werewolf... one who born with the disease. There is no cure for his particular strain, but he can manage it with the help of the ring. He acquired the curse while hunting in the woods one day. He was young and ended up transforming that very night. Fortunately, his family noticed and gave him an artifact passed down through the generations. Supposedly, one of his ancestors found it in an ancient ruin and discovered its purpose. They never used it, but kept it just in case. From then on, he depended on the ring and transformed on the full moons. He has always made sure to please his inner beast by feeding on the animals rather then fellow humans. He was later sent through a portal and ended up in this world. If another human/elf/etc were to come in contact with his blood, they too would get the same strain. This may come through ether a bite or perhaps even drinking his blood. If ether person were to have children, those children would be born with the disease. If they were to have to have children... you get the point. In short, this particular strain infects through genes and blood. As there is only one Ring of Hircine, they would have to find some other way of controlling it.

Okay, I kinda laughed at that. xD Uh, I didn't really think of including the trolls when I was making this. I'm honestly tempted to say yes. x3 Well, there ARE random portals opening everywhere in all kinds of fantasy worlds, and I DID say it was any character..... I mean, it seems that with all those portals and everything, that Alternia could have possibly been included in that... I didn't really plan on it, but it sort of fits in, I mean it's a fantasy world and that was sort of the minimum requirement here..... Hmm..... Dang, I'm still really tempted to say yes...... x3

My main concern is that she's a canon character, and the fact that I did plan on visiting the worlds that characters came from, which would then include Alternia, and then who knows how long we'd spend in the world of Homestuck. xD As awesome as it would be to have Kanaya, that might not be the best idea. Maybe later, after the main plot, we can do a Homestuck thing just for fun or something. x3

Personality: She's a very spunky and aggressive sort of Kyarin. Not really someone you want to mess around with either, despite her maturity. The cruel world has made her that way, though she does have a soft spot for some things.
Type of Magic/Powers/Elements: Link Magic (if close or desperate, is able to link with a person in some sort of telekinetic bond. Each other's thoughts, emotions—even magic power and stamina can be shared. Also, the bonded people cannot be more than a mile apart other wise bad things happen. Sudden drain in magic power, blackouts and headaches, ect. To break the bond, both persons must break it through both desiring to break off on their own free will) and Kya Force (A special force channeled by Kyarin that is unknown anywhere else. It is hazardous and deadly to be exposed to to pretty much everything but the Kyarin species, which it embodies. Kyarin can channel this power into energy in the form of somewhat of a magic, yet also a physical extension of oneself. Kya force is almost like a blue, purple, and white flame mixture, while also appearing almost like an aura. It is controlled by a Kyarin's thought but only if they have a very tight mental grip on it. It can easily go out of control and backfire attacks or waste up too much energy and render the Kyarin useless. Kya Force can be solid or liquid-ish. It can be controlled to do many things, yet it takes much training to actually use effectively in battle as well as it is limited by a Kyarin's maturity. She's self taught after all, but has a fair grasp on it's power

Personality: Shy and worrisome. She can get pretty scared in new situations or around new people. She's not the type to get very angry, and is more likely to be afraid than angry if threatened.
Type of Magic/Powers/Elements: Water/Ice.
Appearance: Light auburn curls that have been tangled into two braids for hair, large blue-green eyes, a small rounded nose, and pale pink lips. Her skin is fairly pale and spattered with freckles. She wears a simple, pale blue dress and a dark blue hooded cloak over top. She's pretty short for her age.
True Form: She has two ivory horns that curve slightly up on the ends. Her scales are a light blue, and get darker around the tip of her tail, wing finger tips, and feet. She has very light, pale blue wave patterns on back. She has a branched type of tail fin, the webbing matching her wing membrane color, light grey-blue. She also has fins on her cheeks and lower back, the webbing also matching her wing membrane color. Her eyes are the same color as her human form, vibrant blue-green.

Personality: Quiet and thoughtful, he's careful about what he says and who he says it to. He lives on his own in a small village, so he really only talks to people if he really needs too. Underneath the anti-socialism, he's really quite a sweetheart and kind. He can also be very brave and honorable.
Type of Magic/Powers/Elements: None, but he is quite a gifted archer.
Appearance: Brown hair that ends above the midpoint of his forehead. His skin is a light peach and he's not quite as muscled as some of the other guys his age, but is taller. His eyes are a greenish brown and he wears a simple green tunic and dark brown pants, with light brown shoes.
True Form: See above.
Armor: He only has a moderately good shield that he keeps at home.
Weapons: Has an old sword (one of the few belongings he has of his parents), a wooden crafted bow, and many arrows.

Other: His real name is Alex, but when he was young he lost his parents in a fire started by someone else. The reason be believes his name is Axel is because when he was first learning how to write, he misspelled his name and carved it into his bow, and he's lost all memory prior to the fire.

Oh, thanks. Well, in that case, we'll get started then. Just give me a minute to write a starting post and we'll get this thing going.

And here is the starting post:
Mortalis. The land of humans. A world without magic. At least, it was. Ever since the portals opened up at random, creatures of all kinds have sucked into the world of Mortalis, and given a new human form. Humans who witnessed strange occurrences are quite fearful, others are preparing for war against these creatures. Those who have not witnessed these things for themselves, and do not believe them, simply scoff and go about their business as usual. They think the others are crazy. There couldn't possibly be magic in Mortalis. That is absurd! This is the land of mortals, after all. There couldn't be magic here.

For the creatures who have come to this world, they were immediately given a human form upon entering. Whether they use it or not, though, is up to them. Some are starting to live as humans to some extent, trying to blend in as them and learn about their world. Others refuse to lower themselves to such a level, and live outside the kingdoms in their true form. Either way, they are lost and confused as to how this happened, and need to find a way to get back home.

But there's no time for that now. Chaos is spreading. A new age of darkness is just beginning for the humans. The distant Caringora Mountain Range, that can be seen from just about anywhere because of how wide the range is, has been completely cloaked in darkness. That darkness has been steadily spreading to the forest areas around the mountains. Before long, it will reach kingdoms. No one knows what is happening, but they know it must be stopped.

You begin your journey in the kingdom of Kendermore. It is considered the capital city of the land of Mortalis, as it is the largest kingdom in the land. You have just arrived into town, as you have just received a letter asking of your assistance. The letter states that darkness is coming and your special skills are needed to stop it. You're supposed to meet someone at the local tavern here in Kendermore for further information. You were only given the name of this person, Rego Sanguis. Find the tavern and meet whoever this person is there. Maybe then you'll get some answers.

Alright! Start!

Saritu sighed as she entered town, walking in her human form. It wasn't bad enough that she was an alien to this world, but her human appearance looked so different too! Silver hair, eh? She changed her name to something less foreign. Kiryie I believe it was. ... yeah, still pretty uncommon, but she liked it. When she was handed the letter, confusion soon turned to excitement. Suppressed of course, one must always look stately and well-composed, but she really wanted to attack something for the longest time. Plus, it'd be nice to get some experience on fighting again. Hitting trees was always so dull.

She did like her human form for two things though. One, people were more inclined to help the little lady, which she found had it's perks and was very generous indeed. She was far from a helpless young maiden, but looked and acted the part. Two, she'd always be underestimated by opponents. A few days ago some thugs wanted to have their way with her. They were way overconfident in their ability to take her, and boy did she make them regret they were ever born! Simply wonderful. However, attention was always a big problem too. She didn't really like attention and her looks gave her plenty. Either form too.

Whispers of rumors could be heard throughout the kingdom of Kendermore.
"Did you hear? Rego Sanguis is in the kingdom somewhere!" One person whispered excitedly.
"That really skilled knight? Oh, wow! He's so cool! I hear he's a rogue knight, but he's too nice and noble to be like a normal rogue."
"I know, right? He's so warm and friendly. Such a charmer."
"Yes, and very heroic. Oh, gosh, I wish I could meet him!" People were whispering all kinds of things about this Rego Sanguis. He seemed to be a pretty popular knight.

As Darren entered the capital, he looked around at the buildings. He came from a small village, so they were nicer then he was used to. After he was sent to this world, he found another small village and hunted for a living. He rarely goes into major cities, due to his curse. It's easier to manage with nearby woods and a low population. However, the letter interested him and thus he came. If the chaos reached the woods, he wouldn't have anything to hunt. If it reached the kingdoms, this world certainly be doomed. He was pretty much stuck here, so he ought to save it. As he heard the rumors, he wondered what made Rego Sanguis so great. In any case, he walked around and looks for the tavern.

The rumors of Rego spread like wildfire. Just his name being spoken seemed to excite many people. They gossiped on and on about this fellow, saying things they had heard about him, and talking quite highly of this guy.

Rego Sanguis himself was currently sitting at the bar in the local tavern. He wasn't drinking, but instead held the hand of the bar maiden, charming her with sparkling eyes and dazzling smile. The tavern itself is located at the edge of the marketplace, with a sign that says "Moe's Tavern."

After selling some of his kills in the marketplace, Darren saw the sign and proceeded to enter the tavern. He glanced around and looked for heroic looking knight. Spotting him, he proceeds to sit at the bar near said knight. He waits for him to finishing charming the bar maiden, prepared to ask if he was the one he was looking for.

Axel stood at the edge of the forest on the path to Kendermore. He gazed at the city, then glanced down at the letter he held in his hand. He felt uncomfortable being away from his home in the village, but was glad that the city was only an hours walk from home.

"This better be worth it." Axel muttered, starting down the path toward Kendermore.

Laina, meanwhile, had just freshly tumbled out of a portal but ten minutes ago. She was currently sitting in the grass outside of Kendermore, looking around with wide eyes.

The dragoness-turned-human huffed, then tried once again to stand up on her hind legs. "W-woah!" she cried, wobbling a bit before tumbling to the ground. "Great..."

OOC: Are the dragons still able to use their magic?

ooc: Yeah. Dragons and whatever else from other worlds still have all their powers and everything. They just gain a human form to blend in with that world. The same is true for any other world, you just gain a new form to blend in.

"I swear, Mary, you have the most beautiful blue eyes I have ever seen." Rego spoke sweetly to the bar maiden.
"Uh, that's nice, Rego, but--"
"Hey, Mary Jane, can I get a drink over here!" One customer yelled, slamming his fist on the table he was sitting at.
"Mary Jane, get back to work. We have customers to attend to." The bar owner, Moe, said.
"I really should get back to work." Mary said to Rego. "I'll, uh, talk to you later, I guess." She said, and walked off to serve beer to the customers.
"Rego, I would appreciate it if you would stop distracting the bar maiden. She has work to do. And there are plenty of other girls for you to flirt with." Moe said. Rego smiled and ran a hand through his hair.
"Well, I can't help it if I'm charming, and she's just too stunning for me not to flirt with her."
"Perhaps you should try acting more like a knight." The owner suggested. He then scoffed and walked off to tend to a customer.

Seeing as the bar owner confirmed it, he was certain this was the right knight. He waited 'till both Moe and the maidon left before approaching Rego. "Excuse me, are you Rego Sanguis? I was told to meet you here..." He prepares to pull out the letter.

Saritu entered the bar. Not exactly the place for her, and she was totally sure that she'd have to smack around more than one person before this night was over for hitting on her. However, he saw the charming flirty knight there and sighed. "Couldn't they send someone more.....refined?" She muttered to herself.

Rego turned to face Darren and smiled warmly.
"I am indeed. Rego Sanguis, at your service." He said. He then noticed Saritu enter the bar and grinned, wiggling his eyebrows a bit. "If you're here about the letter, then you'll have to excuse me for a moment. There's someone I need to greet." He said. Then he hurried over to Saritu. He gently took her hand and gazed into her eyes with a charming smile. "M'lady. I am the one and only Rego Sanguis, champion knight, at your service. Although, I am the one who will need saving from your stunning beauty. I may even faint." He said, as if he had rehearsed that line several times before.

Saritu completely ignored Rego for the moment noticing Darren had the letter too. She promptly brushed past Rego and greeted Darren with child-like demeanor. "Oh! I see you have the letter too. Hi. My name's Kiryie!" She said, smiling.

Caught by surprize, Darren replies... "Oh... um hi there. I'm Darren; it's nice to meet you."

Rego crossed his arms stood there quietly for a moment, not at all happy that he went ignored. Then he sighed and walked over to them.
"Excuse me, but I was the one that sent the letter. I'm the reason you both are here. As I've said, I'm Rego Sanguis." He said with an air of arrogance about him. The bar owner, Moe, watched from behind the counter and scoffed as he cleaned a glass.
"You two are here for him?" He asked, and then sighed as he gently shook his head. "I wouldn't get mixed up with that sorry excuse for a knight if I were you two. He spends more time in my tavern, flirting with the ladies, than he does doing any sort of good. Then again, I suppose he would rescue a damsel in distress. But ignore those rumors about him. He sure as heck ain't no noble knight." Moe grumbled.

"Likewise." Kiryie said, then turned to Rego. "So you're the person everyone's been talking about?" She said, looking up at him with a mischievous glint in her eyes. Kiryie studied him with scrutiny.

Saritu sighed as she entered town, walking in her human form. It wasn't bad enough that she was an alien to this world, but her human appearance looked so different too! Silver hair, eh? She changed her name to something less foreign. Kiryie I believe it was. ... yeah, still pretty uncommon, but she liked it. When she was handed the letter, confusion soon turned to excitement. Suppressed of course, one must always look stately and well-composed, but she really wanted to attack something for the longest time. Plus, it'd be nice to get some experience on fighting again. Hitting trees was always so dull.

She did like her human form for two things though. One, people were more inclined to help the little lady, which she found had it's perks and was very generous indeed. She was far from a helpless young maiden, but looked and acted the part. Two, she'd always be underestimated by opponents. A few days ago some thugs wanted to have their way with her. Heroics? All I've seen so far is flirting... Darren replies, "Hmm... interesting. Out of curiosity, what heroics are you supposedly known for?" Darren appears to be doubtful.

Kiryie sighed. "Should've known. I'd say about 70% of all that hype was nothing more than blown up bluster in either lies or exaggerations." She concluded after studying him. "So......let's get straight to the point then, because for one, I don't like pretending more than I have to. And by the way people are looking at me now, there'll be a barfight in about 10 minutes."

"I am quite known for several brave acts, actually. Rescuing beautiful damsels in distress happens to be my specialty, or at least my favorite type of job. But I do fancy a good fight with a tough beastie every now and then. I'm skilled enough to slay even a dragon, if I so desire. But of course they don't naturally exist in this world. And, darling, if you're worried about getting hurt in a bar fight, then don't worry. I'll protect you, m'lady." Rego said with a charming smile, winking at Kiryie.

Darren sighs, "Why exactly have you called us here?"

"Alright, alright, I'll get to the point." Rego sighed. "Look, here's the deal. Chaos is spreading. Notice the Caringora Mountains any? They're cloaked in darkness. Something's gotta be done about that. I'd go there and take care of things myself, but I have no clue what I'm up against. Going alone would be stupid and probably suicidal. So I wrote a few letters and sent them to people like you. I could use the help to bring a stop to this evil. So what you say? Who's up for a little adventure?"

"Why not petition the King for some soldiers or hire a few mercenaries to go along with you?" Kiryie asked. "And why would you choose m—" She stopped herself and then promptly decked Rego in the face angrily. And despite her disguising figure, that was a mean punch of 150 muscled wolfy pounds.
