so I've been posting about quests a lot recently. My husband and I have been trying to beat them all, so I figured we could get advice for all quests in one spot.. any advice on the best places to beat them?
quests we are struggling with as of now:
best places to beat the elementalist with each kind of character
defeat enemies with push blocks

Push blocks? Maybe do a heroic challenge with the blocks and chompies.

For push blocks try Cynder's challenge where you keep on going after the zombie head near the push block puzzle then resetting the challenge or Shroom Boom's HC.
For elementalist I recommend PvP. You get the type bonus when you are going up against another skylander that you have a type advantage over. Water>Fire>Wind>Earth >Tech>Magic>Undead>Life>Water |

Air characters, I had great success for the Defeating Enemies In Mid Air Quest in Bouncer's Heroic Challenge. It starts with a sea of bouncy pads on which you have to defeat several waves of enemies. Everybody got this before finishing this section, never mind the whole HC. Also Tree Rex has a Land On Enemies thing, that worked fairly well here too, just don't attack, and keep moving.
For aerial money, so far the best area seems to be the Fire Gate on Glacier Gully. For Life characters, pushing blocks onto enemies, I would go to the first Chapter, Time Of The Giants. After the Chompy Pit you bounce up the wall, there's a Life Gate here, behind it on an unreachable ledge is a Root Runner (chompy generator plant). Push the block to get in, push it back into place. Defeat any chompies to get some space, then walk to the top of the block, luring the new chompies towards it. Drop off of the other side, push the block in. This Root Runner has a rather large supply of chompies before it'll eventually run out, you should be able to easily finish the quest here. I also had success in the Heroic Challenge where you collect fruit for Batterson's pies, I think that might be Shroomboom. Several puch blocks with enemies positioned to die, including one where you have no choice anyway. For Undead, they have one where they have to be defeated by a boss, and another where they have to defeat an Evil Undead Skylander. For both I went to Autogyro Adventure. Soon after you start, I THINK the first time you can choose to land (as opposed to the places you're forced to) is the Undead gate. So firstly this is also good for the Elemental Damage. Not far in you get an Ambush with two evil Chop Chops. They count as bosses for this, and they're Evil Undead Skylanders. But for me it only worked for one at a time. I have 2 Cynders, I let one get killed then used the other and let her get killed too, but only the first showed progress in this quest. Same for the other quest, I think. Lucky it's close to the beginning of the level.

I actually found that for aerial money, if you want an easy go of it, go to the game room money vault and just fly into the vault...quick and easy.

I just did that and I got about 10-20 coins. Is there another place? I'm trying to do it with my 2 lightning rods.

For the Undead Elemental damage quest, THE place to get that done is the Spider Trial in The Oracle stage.
You can just let all the spiderlings spawn and go to town. For Life Elemental, the same chapter has the Chompie Trial right at the beginning next to the Spider Trial with Chompy Pods that spawn chompies pretty much forever. With patience you can get the life elemental quest done here too. There's also the Trial of Power that has a chompy pod for Earth elementals if you're patient enough to wait around punching chompies, but I think there might be a better place somewhere else. |

YEAH! wdrumz! love your vids man. For the waterfall quest, if you can trick chompies into flying off the edge of the world, it counts towards the quest. You never have to touch them. At the beginning of Chapter 2: Junkyard Isles at the very beginning of the level, blow up the first wall with the bomb and get all the chompies to follow you backwards to the left edge of the level, just outside of the dread yacht. wait for them to stop when they're close to you and "charge up" to bite you, and just move out of the way!!! lol They'll fly off the edge and die, you get xp and a count towards your waterfall quest. For the earth element quest, where you have to kill baddies with pushblocks, I do shroomboom's heroic challenge. Go to the area where you have to move the 3 turtles to get to the fruit and there's a chompie plant on a ledge above you. Let it keep shooting chompies and run all the way around the turtles til the chompies are stuck on the other side of them and push! Rinse, wash, repeat!

What about Spyro's quest where you have to eat a piece of food, kill two enemy, and get 3 gold - where's a place to do that?

Yeah, I'm major OCD - I have them all, every one of them, and most of the easy to find variants. My favorite is Quick Draw Rattle Shake! |

For Tree Rex elementalist I did a bunch of Wilikin Village. For his Timber! achievement I did Drill-X's Big Rig. Apparently the boss' drill counts toward the total of stomped enemies.

For the Puzzle Power Magic quest, I use the first optional area after opening the first gate in Autogyro Adventure. Defeat enemies and get to the area with the light beams, but don't defeat the enemies. Get their attention, and let them cross the beam. Turn the beam towards the original area, and lure all further enemies into the beam.

Lucked out a bit on this one... On Chapter 2: Junkyard Isles, RIGHT at the beginning (the area where there are Mabu loading up the Dread Yacht), I noticed on the left side are a few breakables, a piece of food, and a Root Runner (chompy generator). I smashed the smashables with some fireballs, then a charge through the resultant money, the food, and some chompies. Took a couple of tries, but I did it! Maybe load the Luck-O-Tron with Wealth wheels to help ensure you get money out of those breakables, other than that it's straight forward, and it's right at the beginning of the level so it's not painful to restart to try again.

i did it in troll home security. but its kinda far into the level . its still very easy to do though. that wall where you need to trigger the xplosives where you enter all the bombs being launched at you. theres either mac and cheese or chinese food with a table and chairs. as soon as the wall is blown up chompies and stuff will come out (make sure you destroyed the table) you can make an EZ u-turn here.

Yeah, sounds like that would work too. But as you said, it's really far into the level. I found mine quickly, so I stopped looking after that, LOL! Oh, and just tried to do this Quest with my nephews' Spyro, and they've never really used him, he had no upgrades, he definitely couldn't dash for long enough, so upgrade your Spyro too (and the upper path has another Dash upgrade as I recall, so this quest is an additional reason to pick the upper upgrade path).

BTW, I tried to get Waterfalls with my Thumpy (the Water quest of knocking enemies off the edge of the world). I found the usual method of luring chompies to leap to their deaths wasn't really working! I first tried this on Wilikin Isles like my other Water guys. When I would try to walk out of the way, he would tend to walk into them, or not away in time and stomp on them before they could leap off the edge. Also I couldn't lure them close enough to the edge, they'd leap and land on like the last pixel. After a potential 20 or so, I only had like 2 or 3 towards this quest!
So I tried switching to Junkyard Isles. Same problem but more cramped, so worse! Then I stumbled on this: On the same level, I walked around the three Root Runners, then off the left edge to the secret cave area. But I did it as far up as possible, to land on top of the tree on the lower ledge! Chompies would try to get me from the Root Runners, leap off the edge over my head and miss the lower ledge too! Got it really quickly then.
