yeah, the descend is pretty quick. he is a complete beast, as he can target you from across the whole arena.

If by pretty quick, you mean really slow.
The rockets may be great and spammable, but they fire off too slowly to catch your opponent and they can get in close range and attack you. Even if a rocket does hit, it only does 20 damage, it's not that great.

my bad, I was off by 10-25 points, WOW!
Even then, the rockets are still too slow to catch your opponent in PvP. And it leaves you WIDE open for a close range character to attack you in your face, especially Fright Rider and Stealth Elf.

True, in most PvP's i watched bouncer is pretty helpless in that path, i rather spam some fists of destruction than rockets, besides that skill is best for fighting melee,mid-ranged attacking giants, because due to their slow speed compared to normal skylanders they have more tendency to hit giants (except maybe tree rex)with his rockets than normal skylanders who can use a dash attack

YES. Just hold down A and bounce on bounce pads, and use the triple magic bomb when the opponent gets really close.

Channeler is very powerful in PVP and story mode. Still, don't let that sway you from trying conjuror out. It's one of the most fun paths in the game.

I love DT's conjurer path. loads of fun, especially once you get good at shooting the doubles to increase them. I love the doubles in arena challenges where they will launch themselves at enemies before they even reach the arena. DT probably had the biggest jump for me in "initial perception" to "what I think now" of all the characters I have because of this path.
That said, conjurer is useless in PvP, especially against a fast opponent, where you don't have time to charge the doubles and can't auto generate new ones.

1st Upgrade- Spore Cloud: It creates this green cloud inside the ring that damages any enemy that steps in it, it's good in close range for extra damage, but useless in Long Range.
2nd Upgrade- Ultimate Ring: It makes your ring bigger than before again, it also lets you shoot the ring with your slingshot and you can make the ring EXPLODE for serious damage to nearby enemies. This is pretty much the best part of the path. 3rd Upgrade- Back to the Beginning- Lets you dig underground and become immune to all attacks while you are underground, it's really good for avoiding powerful attacks and trying to escape from slower enemies (or at least protection). While underground, you can also make your mushroom ring explode by touching it, similar to shooting it with the slingshot. The problem with digging is that unlike Terrafin who gets a speed boost and can still attack while burrowing, Shroomboom is still slow and he can't attack while underground unless you pop the ring and make it explode. If you're faster than him, he's still not hard to catch in PvP because he gets no more speed and he can't attack you. Paramushroom Promotion gives you better offensive abilities, but the Paratroopers are still VERY slow and can be dodged easily. If the paratroopers dropped faster, THEN it'd be better than Barrier Boost. See my gameplay video for more information

Maxed out stats aren't everything, especially armor for giants since their massive HP pool covers their defenses enough. As for Eye-Brawl, eye for an eye doesn't need the armor, since he can easily lay waste to anything before it even touches him.
For his Eye-Brawler path, armor is needed a bit more since he'll need to get in close for big damage, but he still has enough ranged options to make having the armor boost be overkill on him anyway. |

It's not really necessary since armor is actually RNG based. More armor just means you're more likely to take hits less often. |

PvP: Vac-Packateer
PvE (and more fun in my opinion): Bird Blaster Keep in mind though that neither of 's paths are phenomenol, he's an ideal Story Mode guy, but stinks in Battle Mode.

I'm not a big fan when the initial look of the Skylander changes drastically as they upgrade. And, so far, I've not chosen well for this with my giants, (poor Hot Head and Tree Rex -- what happened).
So, for Eye-Brawl and Ninjini, does one path change their look more than the other?

^ No stop! Don't listen to weebeey, Bird Blaster is easily better for Story.
1. Sucking up enemies can be a little dangerous sometimes. 2. The jet pack still lasts a short time, the Reserve Tank is a useless upgrade. 3. The Super Shot on Bird Blaster does 60 damage.

1. It does so much more damage and is not very dangerous at all. 2. Yes, but you can recharge it by using the vacuum for a second. 3. The suction is still more powerful. I've tried both, and I love Vac-Packeteer, and hate Bird Blaster now that I have tried Vac-Packeteer. |

Well you have to admit that in pvp the vacum can be very annoying, but like you said using the vacum can be dangerous because you have to get close up which can lead to your death. So overall both paths are about even. |

1. Yes it is in Nightmare Mode, it gives Wandering Trogs a chance to SLAP you for Over 150 damage, it's not even fair. 2. So? You can do that on both path and it doesn't really make a difference. 3. Nope, Super Shot is more powerful. 60 damage with rapid shots at a distance sure beats 18 rapid damage in close range where it is very dangerous. 4. Whatever weebey.

2. You do it faster on this one. 3. You have to suck up an enemy first which is near impossible on that path unless you're fighting chompies. |

#1242 Posted: 18:35:04 27/01/2013
Quote: weebbby
2. Not much faster though, the Reserve Tank upgrade hardly does anything. 3. Yeah and on this one, you rely too much on the suction gun and you can't do much with your other attacks, plus it's really dangerous to suck up strong enemies in close range. At least on Bird Blaster you can soften up your enemies with the Vac Blaster and THEN use the Suction Gun.

S2s don't matter since you can just switch paths
For , everyone says Mad Scientist due to its high damage output and all the wacky potion combinations you can do. For , I recommend Fear Eater as it increases his defensive versatility and the Skull Charge isn't as good as it used to be. |

|
Mrmorrises Platinum Sparx Gems: 7038 |
#1250 Posted: 23:16:42 27/01/2013
I actually find Lightning lord to be better for S2 Lightning rod. The big bolt wow pow acts as a surprisingly powerful close range character deterrant, and thus the upgrades on Typhoon titan seem a little less needed. I definitely found Typhoon titan to be better for S1 Lightning rod, however now L Rod can be devastating at both range, and close quarters with the wow pow on the Lightning lord path.
