Spyro [Series 2] is listed on SkylandersCharacters.com as a figure, but I can't find any evidence that it actually exists. No auctions for it or listings for it for sale anywhere.

Yes, Series 2 Spyro does exist. He just isn't out or announced yet, like Ninjini and Series 2 Wrecking Ball.

Thank you. Is there some place I can see what waves these will be coming in? Thanks for mentioning Wrecking Ball Series 2 because I just ran into that one too and wanted to ask about it.

They haven't announced the future waves that contain Series 2 Spyro or other unreleased Skylanders at any place yet.

Sad that the so called star of skylanders isn't around for giants yet. There should be a Lightcore Spyro, that would be hot.

Sorry, this is probably a Noob question, but how do we know those two figures exist if they have not been announced? And how does a site have pictures of the figures if they haven't been announced?

There are some game reviewers who get the figures first, and the publisher gives them permission to announce when those figures will be released to the public.

There's also the fact that he's on the poster that comes in the box with the game, on the back of the box for the game, and on the back of Double Trouble's package (single & triple) Pictures - http://www.ebay.com/itm/SKYLAN...=item3f2106cfe4 You can't advertise something that doesn't exist. There are laws against it.

Thank you everyone. I appreciate all the help for a Skylanders Noob.
I never even noticed Spyro and Wrecking Ball on the back of the box before. That should have been a very clear indication.

Right now there's only a handful of things still to be released:
Giant: Ninjini Lightcore: LC Hex LC Pop Fizz LC Chill LC Legendary Chill (TRU Exclusive) Regular figures: S2 Spyro S2 Wrecking Ball S2 Drobot Plus the color variants (Polar Whirlwind, Royal Ninjini, Jade Flashwing, Molten Hot Dog) and the sidekicks. More than likely, there will be 1 or 2 more waves to contain the last regular figures, LCs and Giant. Variants will come out by themselves, and Sidekicks will more than likely launch in the late summer for back to school stuff.

^ This is great info. The poster looks like it is the best 1st hand source for what characters will be coming out. Thank you.
I actually don't have the Starter Kit yet. My son and I got into collecting the figures before we bought the game. My son is only 3 so he really isn't into the game part of Skylanders yet, he likes playing with the characters like action figures.

Yes this figure exists. No it is not out yet as it is in a later wave. It is confirmed as it is on the poster and backs of boxes of other skylanders as already mentioned.

Not to de-rail this topic but I play with my 5.5 and 3.5 year old kids on PS3. I started with two of these controllers. Both broke fairly quickly though. The kids have been doing fine since with the standard PS3 controllers. I also know of kids at that age playing on the Wii. They also play with the figures along with my 1.5 year old and fight Kaos wherever he appears (Kaos has a thing for Hot Wheels it seems). Anyway, it is possible your son will like playing the actual game. |

^Thanks for letting me know. He does enjoy "playing" some games on my 3DS, but mostly he moves people around a bit and then gets bored because he can't control them very well. He is close to getting the timing on buttons and joystick, but not quite there yet.
I definitely encourage it though because I want to play video games with my son. Maybe Skylanders would be a good one to keep his interest long enough to master a joystick.
