Just stopped by a TRU this evening and the guy had three "GS" boxes on his date hold shelf dated 1/25 labeled "wave 3"... Of course I tried to talk him into selling me some tonight since they are not register hold coded, but no go. I guess I will have to be outside Friday when they open if my Gamestop lead does not pan out tomorrow.

Also - he would not open the boxes so I have no idea what is inside.. :-|

I did call back today and spoke with another employee (Not the one that has helped me in the past - He was off today). She did state that yes this Friday was going to be a promotion and that she said it was wave 3, not wave 4, like the employee stated yesterday. Still dont know if LC/Legendary Chill is in the loop or not.
I hope this clears things up.
So if you have not picked up your TB or EB from GS or Walmart, Your chance is Friday. Good Luck.

The nice thing here is even though TRU is late to the game, and more expensive - you at least have a date and time that you can find them. You don't have to stalk shipments at Gamestop for days, or deal with disinterested Walmart employees that couldn't care less. If your TRU tends to get cleared out quick, show up early and I'm sure you will get them.

Yeah, I usually worry before any new wave comes out. I will do so again when wave 4 hits, but everytime a new wave comes, stores happen to look like this for at least a day -

you guys are lucky all my gamestops 5 of them only hand 1 box of delivery when they came which sold out in mins. so as the 1 walmart that had them. but hopefully this TRU wave 3 release on 25th is true as we're wanting TB and EB badly .

Wow, that is lucky. Like Flieja said, my Gamestop has had ONE box delivered on Wednesday and it was gone immediately. I talked to one of my guys yesterday and he said there is a box of giants coming that was shipped out on the 21st and should be here any day now. He doesn't know what is in it but said he would hold an Eyebrawl for me if it's there. Crossing fingers

I wonder if there will be new Giant variants.. Probably just the Snow Variants.

hope you get lucky, weve been calling my GSs for 2 weeks now and most of the employees here arent that friendly just a afew. mostly only cared about FPS games and only a few had knowledge of skylanders. they always says its first come first serve whatever we tell them i wudnt even bother i just want to buy it at GS just for the kix but ill prolly just pass this 1 and get it at wally or TRU which i hope the rurmor is true on the 25

I think a max of 3 per wave is all they will do. Honestly, I was surprised that wave 1 only had 2 variants.

Flieja, my Gamestop guys are generally great to me. I have only had one be rude and that was just the other day when I called to see if they had gotten any of the new giants in. I have spent alot of money at that store on various things and this employee just offered to hold one for me, I didn't even have to ask. He was like "I'll hold it for you if we get it, I know you'll come in." It wasn't there yet today, so he had told me just to call every day that it would definitly be by Friday. so, still crossing fingers, lol.

My TRU also mentioned Giants for 10am on Friday but I suspect its what has already be available in one form or another. Gonna go by to see IF something new should show up. I did find a purple lipped Chill today so my quest for that is over.

so 25th for TRU for TB and EB are confirmed??? -.- i hope its really tru even tho TRU prices sucks atm ill id still get TB and EB

That's funny. My walmart looked like that for about 2-3 days, AND they still had Thumpback and Eyebrawl. Checked Monday, Got Thumpback, Checked Yesterday, Same Giants, Checked today, Same Giants. And in my Area, Skylanders are HOT

Yeah, one of my local Walmarts looked like this today -




That was after holding onto 2 sets of each (set for my 3 year old who still never had any Giants figures for her small collection and a set for a friend), and they still had 3 more boxes of them on a pallet next to the Skylanders section.

Looks like stores are being blasted with EB and TB. Not that's a bad thing.

lucky for you guys your GS and Wally got decent stocks also the pegs for the skylanders are huge. my local stores here just have a shelf and couple pegs.. my GS even just got 1 pallet to hold on all skylanders merchandise on floor sales that includes accessories in it including bags and stuff. only TRU and BB here got decent stocks and space for skylanders but all we have already just waiting for TB and EB. i hope they will surely be out this 25th or next week to other retailers. -.-

Flei, a lady I know at one of my local Walmarts, told me they're about to do a big display for Skylanders. I don't know what's going on or where, but they just said they're about to make a bigger display for the store. Maybe they're getting something other stores aren't?

Well, I am a very happy camper this afternoon My Gamestop guy came through for me and I now have Eyebrawl The other three sold quickly he said (they got two boxes in) and he had even set aside a Thumpback for me too just in case I wanted him. So, long story short, I won't be having to camp out at TRU, lol.

Just snagged a Thumpback and Eye-Brawl today from Gamestop. I'm very happy about this as my TRU is only going to be getting 10 of each Giant (As of 01/21). I would have felt bad reserving a set for myself when we had so few to start with.

Mine got them (TB / EB only new ones). Only one each per customer. Not sure how many they had.

finally and was lucky we got the last pair of EB and TB today. so happy
