Just ordered two Eye Brawl before Thumpback went up again. I was gonna cancel that order to get one of each, but then Eye Brawl went out of stock an then Thumpback. Oh well, at least I grabbed a couple of Eye Brawls.

They are wary of people that order multiples. Hopefully for you, the two won't be a problem. Last year with Wham Shell, several people that ordered more than one had their orders cancelled or changed to one. People with a history of ordering multiples of items were banned.

^Well I hope it doesn't get cancelled. This is also my first Gamestop online purchase.

If they are attempting to limit stock, then they need to handle it how amazon did the Gold Flameslinger and only allow one to be added to your cart.

Agree, but it is what it is. Some of the more rare/hot items set off the bells on whoever monitors those things. I'm sure you are fine though, they are mainly trying to stop the scalpers from clearing them out.

Yes, but if you add it to your Wish List (you do need an account), and add/access it from the Wish List it will let you in some cases before it actually shows up as available on the main page you get from searching. It's their way of making you want to give them marketing information.

Yeah, you need to start a free account. Which you want anyways, because if something does show up you want that is hot, you can check out much faster than if you have to fill out the information to check out. You don't have to give them credit card information to store.

Oh, and if you are under 18, you should have your parents open it.

Honestly, every time it has been available through the wish list, I could do a search and it would show up in stock that way as well.

You mean the "snot brained children" that compose the majority of the player base for this game? The ones that keep it thriving and new releases coming?

You may sneer at them, but the reality is that much like the "bro gamers" that buy Madden and Call of Duty in mass numbers greatly outnumber the "true gamers", and keep the platforms thriving. The Dreamcast is a perfect example of this, you need the masses to generate the profits and keep the games coming. The collectors comprise such a small slice of the $500 million the game has generated. For every Gamemaster, there are several thousand kids that have maybe 10 figures.

I'm sorry that some kids that think Thumpback is cool and want it stand in the way of your acquisition of a toy. But, they are the reason those toys exist for the adults to collect.

And Spyro isn't even the center point of the game anymore either. He has been downplayed so much by now that his repose isn't going to come out until the very last wave.

Ah, you mentioned the Dreamcast and hit my nostalgia cloud. 1999 was the greatest year of my teenage/adult years.

- Star Wars came out
- Turned 21 that year
- My clubbing days
- Gaming buds would host Worms and Soul Calibur get togethers
- One instance that I can only mention this way without it being TMI (not safe for kids) - first and only time it ever happened
- Dreamcast launched and had the best launch lineup of any system up to that date
- Arcades were still alive and kicking
- Got my first place to live away from the parental units
- The Millennium happened
- Best friend was still alive

Only bad things about 99, in my books, was Columbine and the biggest Tornado my city had ever seen (an F5 with 315 MPH winds and 1 1/2 miles wide) carved a path 38 miles long.

I was wondering if anyone's online orders ship yet? When I bought the scorpion striker kit it shipped out the same day and I received it one day later. I would think since on the GS website it stated low quantity it would ship out right away.

I used value shipping so it would be free. Says it takes 2 days for processing and then allow 5-10 days for it to arrive.

I was wondering the same thing... I did overnight shipping and it is supposed to take one day to process and one to ship, nothing has happened yet, my order is still in open status, not even to the packaging step... if it doesn't make it by the weekend I want my overnight shipping fee back.
