When posting in a forum or guestbook, there's a minimum amount of letters you can post. You have to have at least five letters in your post. Dark probably felt that if you have any less than that then what you're saying isn't really worth posting.

Exactly, that's the whole point of the 5 word limit feature in the first place, isn't it?

What if you just want to say "hi"

Then you're going to have to add some more letters, or you could PM them instead. PMs don't have those limits as long as you have something to send.

Yeah, I usually just put 'Hai' but then to add more letters I just add 'der'. 'Hai der'.

You could say "hello" with a period after it.
