The robot you have to defeat in level 6 I think it is, I can't remember the name, where you're walking to the underwater city in Machine Ghost's robot, has been giving me problems as far as defeating him goes. I'm following the on screen cues and I'm being defeated almost immediately every time. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance!

It's actually really simple. Just wait until he charges his punch, then press the punch button while he's 'charging' his punch.Do not punch him while he is not punching. This will result in a stun and takes away nearly 1/3 of your health. The bullets do no damage.

When he rears back to punch, smash hum.

Best thing to do- listen for when the Machine Ghost starts talking. As soon as he starts talking, the icon for whatever system you're using should appear on screen (ie, "B" for Wii) That's the timing I use for it, although from what I've seen you've got plenty of time to hit him cuz he kind of rears back and then stops for like a half second.

You'll know what I mean probably next time you play. He'll say "Punch him" or something to that effect.

Also it's not true that shooting him does nothing, it just does little... And on its own not enough to defeat him before he defeats you. I've had a couple of times when shooting him constantly (including before the fight starts, BTW) has removed enough life that when paired with late punches I've defeated him with one less punch.

But yeah, keep a finger on the punch button (on the XBox it's usually the X button I think, but the icon shown on screen is for the Right Trigger, which also works), then when he rears back to punch you, the icon shows, you have about 1 second to press the punch button. If successful, you'll punch him instead. Don't punch without the icon, it takes 3 punches to knock him out.
