Never had The original Skylanders game so I saw this and bought it.

It is used but comes with everything from the starter pack plus Sonic Boom.

At basically $42 it seemed to me like a good deal, was it??

Yeah, thats a great deal! Sonic boom is very good.

They usually have sales to get them cheaper.

The 3DS Starter pack @ KMart is only $35, if my memory serves.

Yeah, the lowest I had seen a starter for the ps3 was around Christmas and it was $40. That was before my Daughter fell in love with Skylanders. I actually haven't seen any on sale around me lately and they are getting harder to find around here now.

Most of them are stuck in the stockrooms. If you ask an employee about them, they can pull it out for you.

My Gamestop has 20 Empire Of Ice packs in their back room!

One time I went to EB Games, I saw Hot Head in the back and I was curious to see if any Glitters were there. I ask an employee, and he says there is no Skylanders at the back. They just say 'The stock at the front is all we have'. At the front there aren't even Hot Heads there!

It was probably a situation where they were looking to hold the Hot Head for an employee or an customer. This is why it usually pays off to get in good with an employee. That is how I scored my Eye Brawl and Thumpback.

^ My Target has gotten in about 30 Hot Heads these past 2 months. Most were sold in minutes, and the stragglers were being held for people.

A worker at Best Buy in the city offered me the S:SA super pack for 30$. fantastic deal IMO but I had no real need for it.

Nice! $30 is awesome!

Since we are new to the game $42 shipped was fine for me. And I only had the Sonic Boom. So I get the game and 3 figures I didn't have.

$42 is an awesome deal; especially if you figure that Sonic Boom runs for $8-10 alone.

Enjoy the game! It's really fun, shorter levels but more of them.

Lol, and all 4 figures arrived maxed leveled!

I restarted em though, I like having to level them up.

target has all the sa starter packs on sale for 40 right now, so prices may be coming down.. or they're just clearing stock...

As of now, the game is out of production.

Yeah, besides 1 at a GameStop, I haven't found S:SA at any stores around here since the new year.
