^ Joust Jockey all the way!!!! Sir Lance A Lot is good too, but slower and lower damaging. My 2 videos (I played on Hard mode for both vids) shall help you decide:

I strongly suggest Joust Jockey, but pick what you think looks better.

i agree with lightspyro13 100% i picked sir lance a lot but when i switched paths joust jockey is like 10x better
think about it
when will u get a chance to use melee attacks at all in pvp the only fast thing that is hard to use is the flock of fury
while joust jockey
its fast, better for time trials, quick combos
a combo that does over 100 damage
and a combo that is easy to use that is also strong

I wound up using the joust charge to close the distance and just melee away so I went with the Sir Lance A Lot path. It really depends on one's playstyle as they're both good paths, but Joust Jockey is better for the speed boost and speed often makes all the difference in PvP.

The only problem with Joust Jockey is the entombment strike. Sure it does 116 damage, but it's just hard to aim and it leaves you vulnerable when you use it; it's powerful but difficult to use effectively.

Other than that, it's an awesome path. He still

Well if you hate punching enemies and love shooting things an eye for an eye path is I think the best for that person

Eye brawl IS out! When I get him I think I will take the eye for an eye path, because it sounds more amusing and appears to make him quite a bit more versatile. The "bouncy bouncy!" upgrade sounds pretty interesting too.

Apparently, Eye brawl is actually scheduled to release tommorow. People have been saying the reason that some lucky ducks out there already have them is that the stores have accidentally released them too early, or they bought them from scalpers.

I think that the punching path for eye brawl is massively underrated.

Yeah, I actually am thinking the Eye brawler/punch path will end up more powerful than Eye for an eye, which is why I might end up resetting my Eye brawl to try both of his epic looking paths(Y U no switch paths newlanderzz!?!?)

Shoukd I pick Shadow Dancer for my S2 Cynder? Or does it just suck. I chose the lightning path for the S1 and it was awesome so I dont really want to waste my time with a path thats no good.
Same for Zook I picked the Cacti path for the S1 and is the Bazooka one even worth considering for my S2?

Shadow Dancer has been improved in Giants. The ghosts are much more useful this time around.

Shouldn't really worry about paths on S2s though, you can just switch.

thumpback: which path?

Just got Thumpback today and I started out with the "Anchors A-Yay" path. I wasn't that happy with it so I decided to go with the "Up Close and Personal" path instead. I find it more useful since it adds another dimension to his Slippery Belly move and gives him added armor. Also, his Bad Sushi move where he vomits on enemies never gets old.

Both combos are excellent on Anchors. The power slash does 100+ with the same range as normal strikes, and the whirlpool's range/effect are just ridiculous.

for me flashwing is better in pvp and story on super spinner but shes boring
and pop fizz id say is stronger on the mad scientist for both because keep using the green potions
they're actually really strong

I find Flashwing pretty decent on Super shards. The ability to heal yourself by a wall is welcome, although you do have to remain stationary while doing so. I would have liked it if the path gave an upgrade for "Surrounded by shards" but oh well it's a good path.

I have to say for Pop fizz Best of the beast is the way to go. He deals great damage up close, and the special attack given by the purple potion helps him get up close fast! The potion damage is still nice on thsi path. If the "dexterous delivery" upgrade were on Mad scientist then it would make the path worth taking.
LightSpyro13 Blue Sparx Gems: 861
#1136 Posted: 02:19:31 20/01/2013
^ Super Spinner is better for Story though. Super Shards requires walls to use at all, and not everywhere has walls (like Boss Battles, Super shards is completely useless against Robo-Kaos).

That's why you should drink his purple potion. It gives him a pwerful lunge attack that gets him in melee range pretty fast, I consider best of the beast to be superior for pvp.

Besides, the guy wants to now which is better for PvE, not PvP.

all my recomendations. the ones that aren't there are ones i dont have:

MERJIK

smilie: best of beast. why? more fun and the fire is really good for story, while the leap is good for battle mode.

smilie: ultimate spinner, too low dmging on the other one.

smilie: conjurer is one of the most fun paths in the game, but channeler is better. thats why i have royal and regular.

smilie: mrauder is very fun, powerful, and with practice, you are impossible to catch, ziplining all over the place.

smilie: blitz, definitely, the dmg is very high.

ERF

smilie (a.k.a. T-Fin): brawler. all you get in sandhog is a hard to control earth swim.

smiliesmilierismancer is much easier to rack up dmg on.

smilie: pulver dragon is really fun, but granite is better. i dunno.

smilie: both are meh, hes not my kind of character.

WATAH

smilie:go blizzard brawler. no contest.

smilie: water weaver is still better, harpooner is way underrated, tho.

smilie: captain crusty. the poesiden strike is awesome.

FYAH

smilie volcanor. the dmg is too insignificant on magmantor.

smilie: blademaster is underrated, but SoTF is still better.

smilie: marksman is better IMO.

smilie: oil baron is my choice, he is more of a personal preferance.

TEK

smilie: robot rocketeer, the rockets are sooo good.

smilie: master blaster is more fun than they say.

URNDERD

smilie: undead defender, he is totes broken.

smilie: nether welder has greatly improved, the ghosts are awesome.

AYRE

smilie: lightning lord, he is soo little dmging on the other.

smilie: vacer packer is better, he is meh altogether.

smilie: eye of the storm is good in the right hands.

smilie: barb path. no contest, he is amazing.

smilie: LIL BABIES ALL THE WAY!

smilie: tempest dragon is really good, i can walk away and spam clouds until the opponent dies.

LYFE

smilie: floral defender is the more versatile path, and its better, too.

smilie: VV is by far better, the melons get popped easily.

smilie: pook is more fun AND better.

smilie: go nut crafter, although i like the combos.

smilie: i prefer lumbering laserer, as the charge is really strong.

I only disagree with you on Hot head, Camo, Terrafin, Bouncer, and Flameslinger. For Lightning rod I prefer Typhoon titan for S1 and Lightning lord for S2(Tphoon titan does ridiculous damage, with the zapper field), and I give the very slight edge to Treefolk charger on Tree rex. That may seem like a lot, but I agree on most of em.
