Ok so i recently bought a copy of this game off of amazon for 76$. I recieved it friday and decided to play it today. When i put in the disc it seemed fine , then when the first cutscene started to play, it was fine up until spyro got sent to the realm, this was what happened
Professor: its ready!! (Pause) its ready!!!
***LOUD BEEPING SOUND***
Then the sound was completely gone i skipped the rest of the cutscene in hysteria. Then when the next cutscene came on, same thing... Beeping then no noise. I am scared that my copy is hacked or corrupt or something. Since this was 76$ i am really scared
P.S.---- i am playing this on my ps3

Sounds like you got yo'self a creepypasta. No, but seriously I'm sorry, I don't know what to suggest, well I guess you could bring to the disc to a game shop and get it cleaned.

I think that this is the problem here, not the disc. It does the same thing for me. As you describe, the cut-scenes have obscure, loud beeping sounds and they become silent. This has never happened when playing the game on the PSone or PS2. The game-play works completely fine, there's no trouble as far as I know. |

First off, WHY WOULD YOU PAY 76 dollars for Spyro 2: It's usually a 10-20$ game at most. http://videogames.pricechartin...ro-ripto's-rage
Anyway, I agree with what Insomdog said. Some PS1 games don't work well with a PS3.

Shouldn't be a problem with the cutscenes. I'll try playing YOTD on my PS3 tomorrow and I'll get back to you with results

OH BRAND NEW. That's a different beast. Yeah that's how much you'd pay for a good sealed PS1 game. Sorry If I was harsh but when I saw you paid $76, I went

I don't think so, but I can be really wrong. I guess that one is 10-years-or-something old anyway, but even old, used copies are pretty rare. But ya know what is even more rare (at least in my country)? PS2 Dawn of the Dragon. During last year I saw that game only twice on the Internet.

^ No they're not making any new PS1 games. But new & sealed PS1 games are so rare, that their value just goes up.

it was still in wrapping.. so idk...
o and i figured out why it was stalling! ok so after 1 min and 30 sec of any cutscene, the sound goes out, this is because "my t.v dosnt support this game system" thats what u get for buying cheap tvs
