when is it going to be released? some people already have it in hand

Well, technically the release date would be 1/11/12, since that's when someone first found him.

Generally speaking, there's not a hard release date. Someone pointed out in another thread that these to most stores are "toys" not electronics, so when they get them in, they put them out.

The thread discussing the Sidekicks had a few people mentioning their Gamestops were told the 16th is when they'd have them in. So for right now, it's best to just keep checking everywhere.

I had heard from another thread that Wal-Mart was going to get Molten Hot Dog, Thumpback, and Eye-Brawl shipments in at the thirteenth, but they must be wrong.

I have to disagree with them not having a "release date." TRU boxes had a save for 12/23(??) release date. Ended up getting released early. Same with L-SE. Now I understand that L-SE is a bit different and they are different stores. I can almost guarantee you that in the contract everyone has it is in their somewhere that these figures are out on this date. Now, your average store level employee and manager will not know those. Anyways my two cents on that.

The release date for these was 12/23. Remember the TRU ad? 8 figures, then changed to 6. People assumed it was a mistake, which never made much sense. Makes much more sense that for some reason, these two got held up, and now stores are just putting them out as they get them. They west coast is getting them first because that is where they come into the country, and they are slowly making their way east. Happens the exact same way with regular action figures.

this january for sure not this week but cud be next week or the week after. seing how walmart are already starting to stock them. Eyebrawls and Thumpback in califs were probably just got accidentally put off the shelves or forcibly put to shelves due to low items on the floor. but still we will surely have them anytime soon and cant wait to have them both. they both looks sick, awesome and badass.

They're actually not officially out yet. Just because people have them doesn't mean they're out. Some employees can be unaware that they aren't supposed to put them out on the shelves yet, and they put them out.

Tomorrow is the official date for the entire US.

I'm sorry Matteomax but I don't see where you found that the official release date is tomorrow for eye brawl and thumpback. I checked the Facebook page and didn't see any proof, it's not that I don't believe you I just want to see it for myself.

Well, Ohio seems to have received shipments of Eye Brawl and Thumpy. My Gamestop in Dover had recieved 3 Boxes of them, my Mom was able to get them for me at Gamestop, somehow they were able to reserve them. But, these were found yesterday on the 15th. Happy Hunting

North Carolina hasn't gotten them yet for the 3 calls I made.

San Antonio, TX: Thumpback, Eyebrawl and LC Shroomboom found at Walmart. Gamestop and other stores had wave 3 figs, but not the new giants.

Nothing inSt Petersburg/Clearwater Fl. Went to 2 walmarts 2 targets a toys r us and 2 gamestops. Nothing of the new giants, lc shroomboom or hot dog 3 pack.

Just picked up Eye Brawl, Thumpback, and a free sidekick @ my local Gamestop in Louisiana.

I was able to find 1 Thumpback and 1 Eye Brawl today at Game Stop. I'm out in west Tx and it was the only ones I was able to find today. I picked them up of course. Funny thing was I called this Game Stop a little after 11:00am and the guy told me that he had never seen either one of them and went on to tell me they haven't been released yet. Well I waited till around 1:30pm and called the other Game Stop here in town and they said that they didn't get either one in today but the other Game Stop (the one I had already talked to) had them. So, I called again and got another employee and asked if they had them. He said, "Yes, we actually have one of each." I said, "Great! Can you please hold them for me and I will be there within the hour." He said sure and I got there in about 15 minutes and picked them up. They told me they only got 2 of each of them in with their FedEx shipment. Lucky find!

Picked up a Thumpback and EyeBrawl today at walmart in ottawa, Il. When I was there they had only one eyebrawl and 2 thumpbacks.

I am going to Hawaii so i might need news about there about at that state unless next week when i am home in northern IL i might find em could someone gimme some info on thumpback and eye brawl in IL? Please!!!!

Check your local Walmarts and Game Stops. I heard those were the 2 stores that were getting them. Game Stop gets theirs through FedEx or UPS so you should call them around lunch time.

Hopefully they come here to MD tomorrow. I've been checking gamestops and anywhere else I could think of in Rockville, Gaithersburg and Germantown with zero results. All I'm asking for is for one measly is that so much to ask?

Asked my Walmart, they got word that to make room for the Giants, and rushed them out last night, (1-15-13), and that the next shipment would be either Friday or Saturday, but most likely not tomorrow.

I am on the plane right now i am so jealous right now of people that have em' if someone could just buy me both that would be great!!

All I want is a two single giants, and the scalpers happen to be on the prowl, so all I want is for no scalpers to be around to steal my Thumpback and Eye-Brawl when they get their shipments!!

Just got 1 Thumpback and 1 Eyebrawl from Gamestop Tyrone mall in St Petersburg, FL. They were the only 2 there. They do have 5 copies of the Scorpion Striker battle pack. Good luck everyone!
