Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum (just joined today). I'm also pretty new to skylanders. I received the Skylanders Giants starter pack (and a bunch of figures) this Christmas. Ever since, I've been hooked on Skylanders. Now, I've been a Spyro fan for a while, and I was excited to see that a series 2 figure of him would be made. Since I don not own the original game, I don't have series 1 Spyro (he came in the starter pack). So I've been wondering, when will the series 2 Spyro be released, because I really want him, he's one of my favorite characters. Thanks guys.

As of right now, we have no idea when he'll be released, except in the possibility of the next wave. (if it's the last one)

I have an unfortunate feeling right now that they're gonna release him all the way at the end for hype and he'll end up being exactly like Wham-Shell (who was and still is near impossible to find from the first game)

I HOPE I'm wrong and he'll be out plentifully because I'd love to pick up some extras of him.

It will come with the next wave, probably mid to late February.

If you really want a Spyro figure now and you have a 3DS, I recommend the SSA starter kit that comes with Dark Spyro. The 3DS game is really good and is quite different from the console games.

Also, keep an eye out for sales on SSA Starter Kits that come with S1 Spyro, S1 Gill Grunt and S1 Trigger Happy. This past Christmas I managed to get SSA for the PS3 and 3DS for around $25 each at Kmart.

Okay. I just really want a Spyro, and there's no way I'm buying the starter pack from the original game just to get him, since I'm not all that interested in the first game. Hey, could I ask you a question? How do I change my username? (can I even do that?)

hey buddy you can even get him off ebay if u look around welcome to the forum dude.

Okay, then just wait a month or so for the next wave or buy a loose figure for a few bucks on Ebay.

I don't know if changing your username is possible. Try contacting dark52@darkspyro.net and ask if he can change it for you in the database or just create a new account.

Unfortunatly, you can't change your username.

Thanks for the advice and welcomes guys, I think I'll wait till the S2 one is released rather than buying the old one.
