Is there a limit to the Hidden Treasures? [CLOSED]

When I first got the Pirate Seas Adventure Pack, for Spyro's Adventure, I found that (generally) I could use it to find a "Hidden Dragon Treasure" 4 times in a level before it was used up and I had to move on to the next level. Now in Giants I'm only trying it on the first level, and I must have found 6 or 7 by now! Does anyone know, is this unlimited now? (Which would be nice of them, as a nod towards how many characters you might have to buy upgrades for now). If it's not going to stop me, I want to move to another level just for a change of pace! smilie

Yes it is, as I use it whenever I'm levelling up a character and I usually play on the same levels. I've done it with around 20+ skylanders.

Huh? I though you could only use it once per level???

Once you find the treasure, do you have to remove it from the portal and put it back on? Thanks

You dont have to remove it at all. Just keep playing with it. I have Bash completely maxed but run through the same quick levels when my son finds a new Heroic Challenge he wants to buy.

Between the extra treasure and Arena Battles, I get him there in no time.

While on this topic, is there any difference between the Pirate Seas treasure and the Battlegrounds treasure?

Okay, thanks! I was really wondering, but I didn't want to keep hammering at it to be sure, LOL!

You can only use it once per PLAYTHROUGH. You can find the treasure, then go to the Level Select screen to pick the same level to start it over (or a new level, of course), and the hidden treasure resets, you can find another.

Heh, this is the first I hear that they re-released any of the toys (i.e. non-Skylanders). I would assume it works the same, and I see someone confirmed that. smilie

Are you talking about Levels (easy, medium, hard, nightmare) or Chapters?

Yeah, sorry, like lots of people I use "Levels" and "Chapters" as synonyms, each Chapter is just like a Level as defined in other games. Yes, I mean Chapters. For example, I would start Chapter 1: Time Of Giants with the Hidden Treasure toy on the portal, then once I find the Hidden Dragon Treasure, hit Pause, choose Chapter Select, choose Chapter 1: Time Of Giants again, find another treasure. Etc. I was wondering if I could do this an unlimited number of times, in SSA you could only do it 4 times per level. Sorry, Chapter.

As for Difficulty Levels, I've done this on my Easy save and my Nightmare save. No difference.

The Platinum Treasure's main purpose was sort of for the iOS so it's hard to debate over it.

As far as I know, they're exactly the same. Although the Battlegrounds treasure is recolored and has an orange base, it is still a Series 1. In Battlegrounds, the Platinum Treasure gives items and EXP boosts, but I'm not sure if the normal Hidden Treasure gives the same perks.
