Are those seriously the only characters they'll have? Disney's going to lose. I've seen other sites and forums talking about this, and alot of disney fanboys/girls and alot of skylanders fanboys/girls have been arguing. :c This is going to end up like Halo/CoD battles. I can feel it. I wish disney wasn't so full of themselves. Disney localizes studio ghibli movies right? That's the only thing I like about disney, well.. that and Gravity falls. [Which has been on constant re-runs lately...]

Overrated Disney characters... yes

However, I feel that Disney can execute a more addictive form of gameplay than Skylanders. But, still, like people have said, this competition will only force Activision to make Skylanders better.

They may have the characters, but the gameplay looks terrible.

This is the first that I'm hearing about it.

I don't feel like I have to pick any one game over another game. I can play both Skylanders and Disney. I watched the trailer and I got kind of excited, but that excitement has started to wear off already.

I'm not a big fan of mixing all the properties together. It just rubs me the wrong way that the characters from Toy Story are the same height as those from the Incredibles. I'm guessing if Bug's Life makes it into the game we'll have six foot tall ants as well.

That sort of thing does bother me on some level. Scale is important to me I guess.

Also, if Disney is going to do this then there's nothing stopping Marvel from doing a toy figure type game as well and someone already mentioned Star Wars, which I know was recently bought up by Disney so there's that possibility also.

My money is probably going to be spread pretty thin trying to keep up with so many collectible figure games that I think I had better be discerning about my choices.

So, I'm probably going to pass on the Disney game (as cool as it does look), stick with Skylanders and possibly branch out into a Star Wars game if it comes, a Marvel or even DC game if one of those ever shows up and then call it quits before something else tries to seduce me.

Wow. That's terrible... 13 dollars for a random fig.? They wont be getting much out of this. Day one will be okay for them, due to all the fanboys/girls. Then the game will slowly die down, as skylanders 3 nears its release.

But I agree, this price is outrageous. The figures also look like crap. Skylanders will always be king. Disney will provide a little competition but not much.

Those details must be wrong or flubbed because there is NO WAY Disney seriously thinks not knowing what character you're buying is going to increase sales and that you can't cross franchises.

Blind package is a rumor. They're dumb if its true.

Characters from different franchises can play together in Toy Box mode which is a mix between Minecraft and Little Big Planet.

You guys are insane if you don't think this game will be HUGE.
