I was in contact with her seller during the auction. After pulling some teeth for viable information on the figure I was informed that the figure will never work because there never any data put on her chip. That figure was meant to be a paint test, the data was never placed on the chip because no perceived need to do so. Apparently the paint tests like this do not normally get the data placed on their chips because it encourages their early disappearance from production testing. Unfortunatly, in this case she has a chip but there simply is no data for the portal to repair or read.

Matteomax my east coast gs (Florida) said there's a sizable shipment of skylanders coming today to kick off the sidekicks promo. My guess is that everyone will start seeing them today. I'm usually the last to see trickle out waves. Gonna call around 12 and I'll post if I'm on my way to get em.

In my experience it depends on the employee. Some will say no cause its a hot item and if there's noone else there (which is the case at my local gs's) then it doesn't get held. There's one employee there who I know won't hold it.

I found two Eyebrawls and two Thumpbacks at a Gamestop right outside of Birmingham, AL today. I bought one of each, but I was really disappointed in the paint on both of the Thumpbacks they had. I know the demand to deliver the figures to the stores is high, but I really wish the quality control was stricter.
