More Wave 3 - Now With Giants

Two brand new Giants are now in what is still being classed as Wave 3 of Skylanders: Giants, so in the United States you should soon be able to find Thumpback and Eye-Brawl.

There are also some brand new Triple Packs being released, however they're all Series 2 Skylanders that have already been available in singles. One pack has Eruptor, Stealth Elf, and Terrafin. The other has Prism Break, Lightning Rod, and Drill Sergeant.

The last of the Legendary Skylanders, Legendary LightCore Chill, is also apparently scheduled soon for release at Toys R Us but as of yet has not been spotted.

And finally, as well as the release of Hot Dog in the Battle Pack, for a short time at GameStop you will be able to get the Sidekicks from Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure (that's Whisper Elf, Terrabite, Gill Runt, and Trigger Snappy), supposedly through a spend $30 promotion but people have reported being able to just buy them outright. Stocks may not last long either way.

well at last the 2 giants I have been waiting for are now come out but need to wait till February or March for wave 3 to come out in australia

Luckily they'll have smilie at Target. I'm broke, but I could use my Target giftcard to get him. I'd have to save up for smilie smilie smilie though smilie At least I'd have about $10 out of $45 ( $50 plus taxsmilie

Looks like thumpback and eye brawl are out in stores now but nothing near me in New Hampshire. Anyone willing to help out in finding them on the west coast? I have a scorpion striker 3 pack I can use to barter? My boys are VERY anxious to get those giants!

My local gamestop got one each Thumpback and Eyebrawl today and I was able to get the 4th sidekick by adding one more single character pack. One gamestop employee told me they raised the price of sidekicks to $999 to deter direct sales of sidekicks. That promotion is going to bring them big $.

My understanding from talking with a few gamestop employees is that you can only buy sidekicks in stores for either $999 or free with a purchase of $30+ skylanders characters and/or starter packs. I was just short of this with two giants, so I had to buy a third character to get a sidekick free. I bought hotdog in the Scorpion Striker Battle Pack yesterday, actually two of them, but they are only at gamestop this month.

As of ten minutes ago (~8pmEST 1/24/13), Eyebrawl and Thumpback was available on gamestop.com. I've had to monitor all of the web sites religiously for the last week. Man this was a chore! Still haven't seen it local...and I know we hit 7 stores last week.

Looks like the gamestop.com site stayed stocked for 1 whole hour. ~9pmEST they sold out. Doesn't help that they allow quantities up to 10 for the product. I hope the scalpers get burned.

They are already out, and I would get them at Gamestop before 1-31-13 so you could get a free sidekick.
