[Oh, if Metalliform and Magi's behavior appear inconsistent despite both being Shadows of Chronidian... it's because Metalliform isn't completely under Chronidian's control. Shadows often side with one particular (evil) faction in a world and then try to destroy all other factions, but Metalliform just wants to destroy everybody.]
