With the arrival of Eye-Brawl and Thumpback and some others, it seems the hype for Jade Flashwing and L-LC Chill and Molten Hot Dog is increaseing more and more. I know this seems like a pointless topic, but, with pics of L-LC Chill coming out (Excited ) and that darkened picture of the possible Jade Flashwing, and the rumor of Molten Hot Dog, aren't we forgetting one other varient? Polar Whirlwind seems to be forgotten in this fray. It seems she doesn't get any love. Am I the only one who seems to like Polar Whirlwind? Anyway, rant/comment away on Polar Whirlwind or someone will delete this.


BTW Anyone know if Moderators are assigned yet?

All the variants are really cool. I just think that since the Giants are coming soon means there aren't many topics about others. Also, there are no mods assigned yet.

To be honest, they missed their chance with Polar Whirlwind, especially with how perfect it would have been for the holiday season. (Traditionally...you know..winter)
Gamestop had a bunch of stores set up in malls for the holidays called Gamestop Kids which I assumed in another thread could be a possible outlet for release, but that never came true. (although, guess it is kind of relieving.. there weren't any of them going into malls in Ohio anyways! haha)

As for what they'll do now, it's hard to say. I've theorized that they should have a variant at Best Buy, who's gotten the short end of the stick in Giants with exclusives. Possibly K-Mart but that seems highly unlikely. LC Chill will be TRU exclusive and then there's Jade Flashwing and Royal Ninjini.

My theory was that Ninjini would be Walmart's exlcusive, since TRU and Target both had a exclusive Giant. Jade Flashwing though is hard to say now as there's not really an indication of any store that would get it. Maybe Best Buy? Then what of Polar Whirlwind? It's a toss up really.

Molten Hot Dog I think is one of the most interesting ones because people seem to be split on if they think he'll be released in a standalone single, or in a special version of the Battle Pack. Personally, I'd like to see him in a single so I don't have to buy a second Battle Pack somewhere, but part of me believes that's exactly what's going to happen to encourage people to buy the pack at their store. To be honest, that seems like something TRU would do since I'd have to assume people aren't buying a lot from them with the price increase.

TRU's price increase was ridiculous! They don't deserve anymore business. They deserve the same fate as FAO Schwartz (I.e. with shelves FULL of Skylanders because no is going to spend 16$ on a lightcore and 19$ on a giant).

I think Scarlet Ninjini will be GS/Walmart.

Scarjini needs to not be available at Walmart. They had so many variants already anyways (GITD Cynder/Portal and GITD Sonic Boom).

Plus I don't like Walmart *hairflip* they can get Polar Whirlwind.

No but seriously, poor best buy. They haven't had any variant and Amazon only got some lame gold variant. Scarjini for Amazon exclusive!

The TRU I work at sells more Skylanders than I care to count. My shelves are almost always empty, but I do do a good job of promoting them to kids and parents.

as long as these type of variants will look differently ingame.... they will surely take my money i cud care less with those other variants anyways. and for sure there will be wave 4.5 after all to make room for this variants.

Oh no, I've never forgotten her, she's the one I've wanted the most since day 1. I'm hoping she's not just a rumor, cus I'd surely love to have her.

Polar Whirlwind is the only reason I haven't picked up the standard S2 Whirlwind. I'm just hoping she comes out as an abundant store-exclusive and not in some crazy bundle.

to be honest i think there are more variants to come there has only been four giants with a variant so far the only very rare giant so far is silver glitter hothead (which i have). so i reckon there is going to be another one think about it so far we have granite crusher, gnarly tree rex, legendary bouncer and scarlet ninjini still to come out so my theory here is either eybrawl or thumpback are going to be released into the wild in very rare variant form too. not think it would be cool to see a sapphire blue thumpback or a black glitter eyebrawl just my thoughts lol.
