Would anyone happen to have any special tactics they use for any heroic challenges they'd like to share, seeing as how they can be... well, challenging.

Or if you don't have any, feel free to rant about how cheap they can be too, like Swarm's 'Shoot frist, shoot later' (I swear, those barrels just come up randomly, and for someone with dyspraxia it's almost impossible. And those dang rocks...)

It is tough to say trick to completing them. It depends on what Skylander you use. There are so many combinations it makes it tough to discuss. For example If you use Stealth Elf on one of the hit the object but don't hit the vase challenges then hitting primary attack once so she only stabs once works well. But if using Spyro it depends on his path. Sheep Burner with the 3 fireballs and center exploding is not good for this challenge, so his charge attack would be best. But is upgraded on the other path the flame attack would work because you can direct his flame without the explosion.

This is just 2 characters on one group of challenges. add the amount of challenges and the amount of Skylanders and this becomes a tough subject quick. Especially when you start to count in play styles with different Skylanders.

Pretty much the only "trick" I know is to do Drobot's challenge (Save the Purple Chompies) only before you upgrade your Skylanders, so they're less powerful but more precise.

This but also include Zap's and Double Trouble's challenges.

With all of the challenges including the above ones a couple of play thrus help also. These reveal where the enemies are and the best route to take.

As a note, I play the Wii and Swarm's challenge does seem to be relatively time set. The more rocks, clocks or barrels you hit the faster the remaining ones go. Otherwise this part of the challenge does seem to have a pace to it.
