Thank you, the answer is that I am a GSU student taking a sales and marketing class. A recent topic we discussed in class was that sex sells literally anything. Even children's toys. As kind of a test for this, since my boyfriend sells Skylanders on eBay from time to time, we decided to try something. I tried to keep it tasteful, yet prove the point. The auction has about a day left, and has currently had over 900 page views. We've never had any other auction get more than 200 views in a 7 day period. Now that doesn't mean though, that it will sell for any higher, but it does prove that more people will see it.

^ Not sure how she would be embaressing herself, she's more covered up than if she was in swim suit, and her feedback is 100% - if you look at any of her other auctions currently running, or ended, this is the only one with a picture like this.

HOWEVER, let her know that her listing was posted on this forum. I mean, scientifically, it does poo-poo on her "sex sells things better" hypothesis since the only reason it got a lot more views was because of this topic. BUT, on the other hand, if it wasn't for her picture this topic wouldn't even exist.

So just let her know this, it's interesting feedback though her response makes it seem like she wasn't experimenting for real (boo).
