Sweet. Eye brawl looks great. I wish Thumpback lit up better than what he does but oh well.

I think everyone just needs to be patient. Sooner or later you get all skylanders. I remember that for first game I haven't seen Camo and Warnado in stores in my area till August 2012. Wham-Shell I saw first time in my WalMart in late September 2012. After that a week or two before Giants I saw all of them everywhere - Toys'R'us, Target, Bestbuy, etc.
If you are dying to have it right now, well, there's always an option on eBay. I bought Wham-Shell on eBay from Australia myself - thanks to this forum . I'm trying not to buy skylanders from eBay if there is a good chance to find them in stores. Wham Shell was an exception because I thought it would be the hardest to find skylander. I bought Blue Bash for ~$30 on eBay because of the same reason. And Gnarly Tree Rex for $42.

I'm happy to both arms light up on Thumpback. Hot Head and Swarm were a disappointment from what I expected.

We stopped at a couple Walmarts and looked and even had them check the UPC's at one and the figures showed up on the screen correctly but every time it showed as 12 in stock so I think they "lump" all of the giants together as a 'total stock' as there were 11 (total giants) on the shelf at the store (probably a 12th that we just did not see or was sold today). They said that they had nothing in the back. :-(

Some do, Some don't.

As far as when they get trucks in. It depends on the store.

^ Yep. Very few employees will look back there. Most just say: "Whatever's out there is all we got".

I had a nasty employee give that excuse, and then I asked a nicer employee, and the nice one opened a huge shippment!

I do have to say I am excited. I can't wait to get these. Alas, all we need.......

My walmart said they got a new Shipment that has a Release Date of 1-20-13 that is of Single Packs. Plus the boxes were on Restock carts. Now you guys will ask for "OSHOCK PICS OR NO HAPPEN". The guy wouldn't let me take pics without the manager's permission and the manager wasn't in so yeah :/

Honestly, that does make sense. It could be that these Wal-Marts have broken a street date.

Okay, so I picked up my son's Thumpback and Eye-brawl at 10AM this morning at the Rancho Cucamonga Walmart in SoCal.

I actually waited from 10PM to 1AM the previous night waiting for them to restock. A clerk earlier that night helped me run a stock check and he said it was showing up as in stock, it just wasn't put out on the floor yet. The Giants are cross referenced so they couldn't tell how much of each they had, only that they had it.

They were taking forever to stock, so I had someone dig through the boxes and look in the back but they had no luck and told me that maybe the stock was in transit and to check back on Monday.

On a hunch that the clerk was wrong, I called in the AM and sure enough, they had one of each left, so I placed a hold and picked it up right away.

Can't wait to get these two. Heck, I would even go the route I did last year when I was having trouble things, and offer a Volcanic Vault, plus payment for the figures, to someone in Cali if they hooked me up.

However, if not, it's only a matter of time I guess, until they start appearing everywhere.

I did a quick look in Ebay today, some are starting to pop up in Nevada also. Seems like they are spreading East slowly but surely. Give it a few days and they will become more widespread.

And the idiots bidding on them there are going to send a signal to scalpers, that they need to hunt and get them all again.

I take back what I said about TFB doing good to keep up with demand. This is going to end up being just like it was this time last year. Supply of these two aren't going to meet the demand, and scalpers will be back in the game. I do think that TFB made it so Giants would be hard to find, or else they would have put them in boxes of 12 as well.

I just went to walmart and kid was crying because he wanted Eye Brawl. I said to the dad I feel the same way he does. We had a good conversation

I hate seeing kids sad. I know it can't be avoided, and kids shouldn't be spoiled, but this parent and kid are in for a rude awakening when these things release in full. It's going to be a pain to find them. I bet enough weren't shipped out to meet demand. I feel stupid for saying in other posts, that TFB did a much better job with the whole supply and demand of the figures. I just can't see everyone strolling into stores soon and getting what they want. Very frustrating.

I hear what you are saying GM, however.... keep in mind that it is early in the game yet. I agree that this is going to send a bad signal to scalpers and it will be on again. However, it is obvious that not every store has gotten their shipment or as what I honestly think happened here in Cali for some reason, broke the street date.

As for that kid, I would gladly hand a giant to a kid who really wanted them, I'm 28 and can wait it just makes me angry that TFB, Scalpers, and people who can not wait will do this and party like it is 2011-2012 with the figures all over again.

^ THIS... Here's a sad story:

I was in Walmart. There were about 2 Hot Heads. A kid came up to me and asked about Ninjini. I told him I didn't know, so I handed him a Hot Head.
A few minutes later his sister throws the Hot Head back in the display, almost destroying it, and the little kid was crying like crazy. That's the reason I don'thave any siblings..

That girl was a b***, not even caring about me, who was looking at Hot Head the entire time.

I bet the girl wanted herself a sinjini.
