I just bought the LightCore 3-pack, and the Prism Break;

Has no head attached to him, and the head is under Drobot!

For some reason, it seems like the LC 3 pack is a magnet for errors. My Drobot is missing his jaw from that pack, and I've heard of a few others with similar stories.

That is not an error, that is a broken figure that happens to still be in a package. An error is a Stump Smash on an Ignitor Card, Bash with an extra leg, etc.

Today I found a color variant with Whirlwind.
The right one has a red/yellow horn (Normal). The left on has a gold/light burgandy horn.
I already bought mine in October so I did not need another one but just curious how rare the gold horn is?
The picture does not do it justice but it is very noticeable in person.

The gold one is rarer. I went to JC Penny's and they had almost NOTHING but the yellow ones. I found the only gold one they had.

I cant seem to find any on ebay to see what it is worth. I doubt it is even at GameStop anymore because the employee had his eye on it once I brought it to his attention.

How much more are they worth?
its not worth it if its a couple $$'s. I'll let some one else deal with selling it or cherish having a gold horn.
We dont use Whirlwind much in the game anyways so I dont see buying it. If it is there tomorrow, I may be tempted to pick it up if this post can get me to change my mind.
I do have the 2 color variants of Chill since we like her in the game.

Like I said earlier, we dont use him much but I went a checked our Whirlwind and found that we have the gold/burgandy horn.
No need to buy it tomorrow.

The picture that is loose is the one we have. I did not realize that I already had the Gold horn.
It wasn't until today when I was at GameStop I saw two next to each other and you could see a big difference. Red/Yellow and Gold/light Burgandy. Maybe the Red/Yellow is the rare color variant?

You can see the different color from the top one compare to the loose (Mine) one. The one in the package is brighter Yellow and more (brighter) Red. The loose one is Gold and light Burgandy.

I don't know if this is still true and someone might be able to tell me otherwise, however Gamestop does not let any variants get to the store. Or atleast for the first game they didn't. They would resell them on their website as a package deal for generally a greater amount of what they would get in store. What I mean is they would sell them in packages with other guys.

That is why I don't usually look at Gamestop for Skylanders.

I think they got their hand slapped from Activision so now for Giants they just remove them from the boxes and sell them on EBay.

Found this Drilly who's completely off his base. He was completely loose in the packaging, and I'm sure it would have been awesome if someone was doing a custom or something. I passed on him unfortunately because I didn't have the extra dosh to waste on him.

I saw a S1 Prism Break like that about a year ago. Passed on it since my mom was like "It's broken! It came off when it was being shipped!"
