the cake has dampened it's effect. There's a rather large vein of that magnetic metal underneath it.

What makes you think that Shadows don't have the ability to block such power drainage? Fool. And don't even try killing Chronidian. It is unkillable, and so much more powerful than anything. But we waste too many words. I prefer action.

[I must confess, sometimes I'm uncertain where to draw the line as to how powerful a character should and shouldn't be. But then the Shadows of Chronidian are meant to be some of the most powerful beings in existence, surpassed only by Chronidian itself, so... yeah. But my apologies if I seem to go too far. I'm rather nervous about that.]

[EDIT: And, the more I think about it, the more I think that this power wouldn't even be usable to any non-Shadow entity at all, for a couple of reasons. First: this type of power is so different that you'd have to be a Shadow (or Chronidian itself) in order to even comprehend it, much less use it. And second: even if you could use it, I don't think it would do you any good, as Chronidian created it expressly for itself and its Shadows. And you can't defeat it with its own creation.]

Shadows of Chronidian have no weaknesses.

[This isn't entirely true. There is an artifact that grants a power that can actually destroy a Shadow. However, this is located on a planet in a alternate, hard-to-reach dimension, where the Shadows put it so no one might be able to use it. It is also heavily guarded, and most likely unusable to anyone without a pure heart. But of course, why would he admit to having any weaknesses at all?]
