Please, Activision, don't do this to Crash! Either attempt to get him his own games again (I.E. stuff like Crash of the Titans (But better)), or let him rest in peace. And, letting him into PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale would help revive him more than redesigning him like that and putting him in Skylanders.

I'm not sure if you're serious or not, but what element? I'm thinking water because of F.L.U.D.D., but then again he has fireballs, he sorta flies in Galaxy, all that stuff

Here's the thing, it isn't Spyro's game at all. Spyro was brought in as a familiar face but n reality it is an ensemble game. Spyro isn't even on the cover of Skylanders Giants box art lol

^ That's because they're moved beyond brand recognition (Spyro) into their own creative universe with unique creatures (still very dragon inspired though which is cool)... let's keep it at that, I would hate for Skylanders to lose its creativity and become nothing more than another lame compilation trying to revive dead franchises in one place... that's a fast track to killing the Skylanders franchise itself... I think Toys for Bob is smarter than to throw in another revival character like Crash Bandicoot

well lots of games systems have been know to put there mascot into a game as a pre order or system exclusive - just look at soul calibur as an example -- could be a pre-order or exclusive for Skylanders 3 for the ps3

Well skylanders could have been about Crash from the beginning. Someone who did the Toys for Bob logo intro was asked by Crash fans why he and rest of Toys for Bob chose Spyro for Skylanders and said that it was between him and Crash. In the end they chose Spyro.

If Crash is in skylanders I wouldnt buy it. I don't want to lose money on this finencial vortex with a basic dungeon crawler gameplay will that never change because Activision. Plus if he's in skylanders I doubt we will have a real Crash game for a good will

The way I see it: both Spyro and Crash were icons of the Sony Playstation 1 era who have had their legacy run to the ground with poor subsequent games. To me, both series are tethered in my memory (though I was always Team Spyro) so having Crash become a Skylander would be a cute little nod to Spyro Orange and Crash Purple too.

Hey I like him but I dont want him in it!

Well, VV said Crash won't become a Skylander. However, I feel like I can't trust any Skylanders promises worth spit, and we've been lied to a number of times(two specifics I remember: registering all eight dragons would give you a bonus in SA, and old characters would unlock challenges in Giants).

Note: opinion rant below.

I think that Spyro, as a franchise, is now officially dead.
If you were to come up to me in real life and try to convince me that he was anything more than a marketing gimmick in Spyro's Adventure, I would probably snicker at that a little. Despite being in the title of the game, apparently being the leader of the Skylanders, and formerly being so prevalent in marketing, Spyro has no importance to the story in the overall picture. He appeared in just a couple of cutscenes in the first game, he wasn't even mentioned in the second unless you played as him, and he's barely even appeared in Giants' advertising.
(To boot, I found him quite boring both personality wise and, excepting Sheep Burner, to play. Though I'm a sucker for Dark Spyro even though he's exactly the same, because he was my first Skylander and I always drool over exclusive stuff I have the oppurtunity to own myself- I even have one of those sexy Singles of him that EB Games were giving away in a contest.)

Long story short- I don't want to see the same thing happen to Crash.
This is not breathing new life into old characters, this is using them for quick extra sales. While I do slightly understand Spyro's Adventure's situation- it's a new IP where they need to sell toys alongside the game, so they'll need a backup option- Skylanders on itself is doing so well now that it just doesn't need Crash, or any other lost character, to be rebooted as a Skylander.

Let's face it, anyone hoping for a good Crash game is never going to get it and they'll be hard pressed to get success out of him as a standalone title. He's nostalgia fodder (like our beloved Spyro), so they just might as well chuck him in Skylanders.
