I went to my local Walmart (southern california) and stumpled accross this white fuzzy stump smash. View the picture and let me know if you have seen this variation before. I purchased him because i thought it was nice and hopefully rare. Thank you for your time.

Excellent find. First I've seen of it. I guess we should expect one more white flocked variant now. If I were you id sell it to matteomax. We haven't seen one anywhere and first one would make bank.

Added to my collection image generation site tagged as "Snow" Stump Smash with the default icon. If it shows up as special and has a different icon from Skylanders Universe, send me a screen shot of screen and I'll update the icon.

Another reason for me to hate this franchise. Haven't bought a figure since the white prism break was found and the TFB/Activision employees took advantage of us by selling their holiday editions. Don't plan on.it either

Huh. Well how about that. Looks like we've found our second "Snow Flock" figure. Kind of surprised they chose Stumpy though. Why not someone who was released in this wave, like Eruptor or Lightning Rod?

Thanks for all the replies everyone. I will be posting this on eBay tomorrow afternoon. I have been getting messages with offers, so I think an auction would be best. I have no idea what it's worth! Also my location is Southern California!

Yeah, I guess I'm missing something here too. It's not like the game is making someone want every single figure that comes out. Stump Smash is easily available, the need to have chase variants is self imposed. I do get understanding yourself enough though that you know when to stop it, when your compulsion reaches a point you something like this upsets you.

I long ago swore off chase variants. Simply not worth the time and especially not worth the money. My kids want their Skylanders open anyways, so that would destroy their inherent value anyways. Gnarly, Royal DT and now Giants Sidekicks are also pretty much off my list as well. Any of those would be welcome if I could find them as singles or pay regular price for them, but it probably isn't in the cards. The cost of admission is also too high to justify, especially considering they don't add anything new to the game.

That's that only chase variant I have loved so far! Wanna find one so bad!

Mark: Before you list it, can you test it in your game to see if it shows up as Special or not?

I actually did initially put it for more. However immediately after i listed it someone put a pair of stump smash and eruptor snow white flocked variants up for 199.99.

I wanted to keep the price competitive i suppose?

All I want to know is if they show up as seperate characters in Universe and as 'Special' in game. Otherwise, I don't care about chase variants (unless I find one in a store by some miracle).

White Flocked Stump Smash
White Flocked Eruptor

^ Well, Flocked Prism and Flocked Eruptor are KINDA original, even though Eruptor is basically a ranged Stump Smash.

I want that Eruptor.

He looks like the abominable snowman, he is the only chase variant I like.

Okay it's official; all of these variants are really putting a sour taste in my mouth for this series as a whole. If you can't "catch them all", what's the point?

And there's no way I'd pay $200 for it without knowing if it counted towards the overall in-game collection or not.

I don't understand why so many people seem to have the need-to-own-them-all mentality. Just get the ones you like...

They probably won't. If they didn't catch and fix the glitch with the glitters, why would they with the flocked Skylanders?

See with ingame variants that are packaged with things and such ill end up getting them like next year. There's no rush but I still gotta have em. By then the price will be reasonable.
