The only thing I can confirm, is that most - if not all - stores are getting the Giants Sidekicks in today, but won't start handing them out until the 16th.

GameMaster, can you confirm its the Giant sidekicks in the Gamestop promo and not just a rerelease of the Frito Lay ones. I've talked to three Gamestop employees and two have stated they think that this is for the first set of sidekicks

In my history of going to stores for Skylanders, I've found one Gold Chop Chop. I'm not mad, though. I understand they're rare. I usually got the money that buying these on ebay doesn't mean breaking a sweat. I'm just being smarter with these variants and waiting for them to drop a bit.

Towards the end of this month, I will be going back on the hunt. But, yeah, some people have it a bit easier overseas.

It's actually the same chance for some. The Clear Stealthy I found was completely unexpected. Keep your eye out GameMaster, you'll find one eventually.

They aren't the Chips: you have to spend $30 in Skylanders merch & figures at Gamestop to get ONE of them. $119 for a full set.

There are new variants out, peeps! Flocked Winter ones, of Stump Smash, Eruptor, and LC Prism Break!

I think they're still a purplish color, but not as much as previous stock photos showed. (which admittedly was a bit of photo manipulating more than likely.

The actual color will probably be more akin to a royal bluish color.
